Calms Louie down
We have a miniature dachsund who is very high strung, even at 4 years old. Our vet recommended anxiety medication because he would get so worked up when we left. Our trainer recommended we try this instead. It works great, we also bought the spray and spray a little in his kennel and have this plugged in where he sleeps, He is alot calmer when we leave and sleeps alot better at night. I would recommend this to anyone who has issued with a dog that has a hard time relaxing and calming down.

What a relief!
We adopted a lovable but neurotic dog 9 years ago. She would chew up and destroy everything she could when left alone, busting out of her kennel to do so. I thought I'd never be able to leave my home safely again! I read extensively trying to find some help, picking up little tips here and there, discovering Comfort Zone in the pet store. Took it home, plugged it in, dog ran over, looked up at me quite puzzled, as if to say "What the heck?" then she laid down and went to sleep for several hours. It did help her calm down quite a bit. We used it fairly steadily for a year or 2, and now use it from time to time, when Daisy has to spend a lot of time home alone. It really works, comforting dogs because it smells like their nursing mommy dog. (To other dogs, humans smell nothing) We have our own proof of that. We had been using D.A.P. and going to obedience class. The weather turned cold, and we closed up our windows, making the pheromone more concentrated. At the next class, none of the younger dogs could stay in there position while we did our walk around the gym. All the puppies got up and wanted to follow our mommy-scented Daisy!I've recommended Comfort Zone over and over again, along with the most helpful book on dog behavior I've ever read. And I've read many. The Dog Listener, by Jan Fennell, is to dogs what the Horse Whisperer is to horses. If you dog jumps on you and you can't stop him, read this book. If your dog goes nuts when you go out, read this book. Basically, if you have any problem with your dog, read this book! Excellent
We rescued a basset hound with aggression and biting problems. We went thru two trainers with little success. The third one took a more calming, holistic approach including using the DAP product. We keep it near where Roscoe sleeps and have used it for several months. We are confident that this has been beneficial to calming Roscoe.

This DAP stuff works for our dog.
This DAP stuff is absolutely a wonderful product. When used with a Thunder-Shirt, our dog with "separation anxiety" no longer acts stressed when we leave and we no longer have a mess of chewed doors and door frames when we return. All of us are much happier.

Different Name
They should tell buyers that they will not receive the "Comfort Zone" item as depicted in their picture. The product you receive does not say Comfort Zone, but I was told by seller that it was manufactured by the same company.

This stuff works great!
This stuff has always worked well for us. When we added a third dog to our family, the other female was very territorial and aggressive toward her. Once we plugged this in the wall, all dogs calmed down. Years later, the two female dogs are now best friends but we still use this stuff from time to time to help everyone feel secure. For instance, we recently had a lot of contractors doing work inside our home--making loud noises and big messes. Our dogs became tense, so we bought more DAP. Viola! They became calm once again.

Anxious dachshunds
Our girls didn't like being left alone in a new house. This combined with a dose of colostrum really did the trick. Recommended by our vet, this helped tremendously.
