After purchasing another brand of dongle adapter that caused the sound through my earbuds to be really loud, even at the lowest setting, I decided to try this one. It arrived on time. I like the way it looks and is built. It sounds SO much better. I have control again to listen at the full range of volume levels. Very happy with this one.

I tried a Ugreen OTG with ethernet port and 3 usb ports. That was back in 2016 and I have been buying them for every cable since. I have 2 of these for the old lightning port on the 14 Pro Max and have one for my Ipad, now I need one for the new 18. I was going to order the dual pack but still have the spare for the 14 Pro Max. I never needed it and i use them daily. I take it out of my interface and use it in the Truck, then on the jobsite. It gets beat on and it takes it. For the reviews that said it fits lose, or crackles is not the cable. Its the device or user. They plug in pretty tight on the 3.5 end and on a phone if like most people you never clean your phine and it's ports of course it works intermittently. And I see cords that people leave in while using the device which is fine. But so many are holding it so its pushing up or down on the plug. No mater what cable they buy will fall out because they bent and stretched the phone side to hell. I know Amazon sells a lot of crap. but Ugreen is the one thing I know will always be top notch. The day I cant buy a Ugreen is the day I shop else ware. If you have static sounding crackles. Sure every brand will have dud's but check your ports and keep the dirt and dust out of them. Dont put unnecessary strain on the cables because they transfer that to the jack and IMHO at that point it's time for a new phone. Tack care of your things. This is a great cable to keep on the go. I really like the braided design because it feels much more durable than the usual plastic cables. I haven’t had any issues with the outer material wearing out over time, and the connection has stayed stable without any annoying disconnecting or poor contact. Very reliable and well made.

First of all, I’m an all u-green fan. Most of my converters and plugs are u-green. Great quality always. This little converter feels tougher than the original Apple one. Probably will last longer too. I’ve had this for a while and haven’t failed me yet. A real quality brand. Not a paid advert. I’ve bought their stuff with my money. Maybe when I become famous I’ll endorse their products.

The sound isn't great, but it's decent. Cuts out in one side sometimes when I plug the headphones in. Replugging seems to help. The only reason I bought this is because all the other adapters I've bought on amazon have failed me within a few days of using. I'm hoping this one holds out longer as it seems to have a lot of good reviews and it's reinforced with nylon and not straight thin cable wire. The official Apple adapter looks to be the same quality as the ones on Amazon, but at this price might as well buy the official Apple adapter for 10$ and just reinforce it with shrink tube. I'm sure the sound quality is better on the Apple one, but I haven't tried that one yet because I wanted to avoid paying ridiculous shipping and tax from Apple. Maybe I should've waited until I received the first adapter I ordered and tested it out before buying one for my dad and sister. Edit: After using this adapter for a year, it has not given up on me. I'd also like to correct on the quality of my first review. The sound cutting out turned out to be just my old phone giving up on me. Now that I have a new phone, I have no problem with the sound cutting out. The adapter is very sturdy. Now I don't rough handle it or bend it very much, I'm always careful to keep it mostly straight while in use, but I'm sure if I had been rougher with it, it still would have held up fine. The sound quality is still decent, it's not the best in the world. But I'd like to up my review to 5 stars for the quality of the materials that have made it last so long. It has outlasted the Apple adapter and the other brand adapters I have bought. It's worth the money. I would rather buy one of these every few years or so than buy the Apple one every few weeks.
