wonder inspiration
Love all of Tammy Grays books. I enjoy the series and how she builds on a story and you learn the characters. And the another sequel! It’s great! I hope she continues to keep writing!

If you love a good Christian Fiction Romance, this is for you!
Ya’ll - NEW FAVORITE AUTHOR ALERT! I must read all of her books! I am so thankful to be reading more Christian Fiction because I find new favorite authors left and right! 5 STARS for this read! This story has Christianity front and center in the plot and I loved it. It starts with January Sanders (“Jan”) who doesn’t believe in God and has recently suffered a terrible, heartbreaking break up with her boyfriend. So she decides to go and stay with her Aunt for a while, which leads her to getting a job at their local church. She hides her “unbelief” and starts finding love in the last place she thought she would. She also helps many people along the way. This was a beautiful story of coming to know God, going through tough times, finding yourself in Christ and showing forgiveness to others. I loved how much faith was in this book, it was amazing.I also loved the characters. They were all relatable and realistic. I especially love the author’s writing style, it hooked me in immediately! We have a love triangle in this story - in a way. Or you could say there are 2 possible love interests in this story. I normally don’t see those done well, but this was SO good!I had my pick of who she should end up with and I was SO happy she ended up with my favorite! All the characters had to go through struggles and hard times and God’s plan truly shown through for each of them. There was so much emotion and love here - and the ENDING….ya’lllllllll - the ending was beautiful. I loved how everything came together full circle. Overall, 5 stars. If you love a good Christian Fiction Romance — this is for you!

Refreshing and honest
Truth be told, I almost didn’t read this book - yes, I saw all the great reviews, the cover is gorgeous and the premise interesting, but I wasn’t really in the mood to try a new-to-me-author. AM I GLAD I DID!This was one of the best contemporary novels I’ve picked up in a while. January was refreshing with her raw honesty and unbelief in God. The author did a great job of pinning her character - she was honest, meddling in a way which helped others and quirky and fun. Even when at first I thought I would not relate to her, I ended up feeling like she is my best friend. This book had one of the best love-revelation scenes ever! I couldn’t help smiling. And the men was total contrasts. Cameron on paper looked perfect and Dillion with this raw emotions and broodiness…who can’t help loving a man like that. I loved both but had my secret favourite and you will just have to read this book to see what happened. But more than Jan finding her own path, forgiveness and the road to healing, what I also loved is just the picture of Christians represented - we all have our struggles and mistakes (yes, even those working for the church) and trying our best to make the right decisions each and every day, sometimes missing the path a bit but then God in his unconditional and gentle way, nudges us back. (Like Jan and Dillon’s friendship). And how God used an unbeliever to answer more than one prayer.I loved Aunt Doreen and most of the secondary characters and hope to see more great adventures and HEA’s to come.Prayer is not about changing your situation, although sometimes God grants those requests. It’s about changing your heart. The difference between you and me, dear, is that when the bad times come, and they do for us all, I have comfort and peace.Highly recommended to fans of Christian contemporary.

Captivating and Inspiring
This is definitely one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. I was hooked from the very beginning. Lighthearted with just the right amount of humor, and inspiration. I could find myself relating to more than one character and felt encouraged by their struggles and triumphs. Take a journey with this book. You won’t be disappointed.

I loved it!
I absolutely love this story! It's the first book I've read by Tammy L Gray, and definitely want to read more! A humorous January Sanders gets a temporary job at a church when she doesn't believe in God.She doesn't anticipate falling for the church's handsome guitarist, Cameron Lee, who also falls for her. He's a strong believer and she's not, what could possibly go wrong?January keeps encountering her aunt's blunt landscape architect Dillon who values honestly above all else. Dillon pushes her to be honest with herself. "That man is a walking storm cloud, and once again he's rained all over my happy mood." Those two crack me up.Author Tammy L. Gray has a beautiful way of drawing the reader into the story, so it almost feels like it's happening in real time.Sweet, romantic, funny, and soul searching. I loved it and highly recommend Love and a Little White Lie.

just right
Just the right amount of about everything a person would want in a heartfelt story. All the characters had their own struggles going on that made for a very realistic plot. At first I thought it would be too religious, but it was just the right amount. The romance felt very real and was not over done or insta-love. A very refreshing read and one that leaves the reader with good feeling.

Loved it!!!
I really enjoyed this story. Each of the characters had such a well developed history and unique conflict. January has such a painful past filled with abandonment. She comes to her aunt's home after she is left once again. She takes a temporary job at her aunt’s church, though she is not a Christian. This is a very real beginning for January to find out who she really is.Cameron, Dillon and Doreen are integral characters to January’s life and they each help her to find God and who she is in Him. There are many painful steps, but each step brings her to God, where she finally finds what her heart has always needed.

Refreshing! Excellent writing!
Iwhat I love about Tammy L Gray is that her stories are not cliche or predicable. Her writing style is unique. It's not formulaic and doesn't feel like "you've read something similar before". The way it is written is dynamic and refreshing. Lots of up and downs for sure. Lots of chemistry and humour. I really enjoyed it a lot! I read it more than once!

Lost but found
Self-discovery is a very important matter before you dive into relationships. This is the journey that the protagonist was on . And couldn't be happy until she did.

Amazing read!
January is reeling from a relationship ending, moves to live with her aunt and uncle for a while and takes a job with a large church, on her aunts recommendation. Not a big deal you’d think. Until we learn she doesn’t believe in God. At all. I loved this book and the story arc with January was such a great read. The first task she’s given is to sort out prayer cards into different subjects and she’s takes note of one which touch’s her heart. Her decision to visit the mother in the nursing home, mentioned in the card, is an important one which I really enjoyed. This is a romance too , not just between two people but between God and January. Grace and redemption are written in such a beautiful way. And I’d just like to state that the declaration of love near the end is one of the best I’ve read.
