Perfect littles fan
The media could not be loaded. Brought to replace the stock fan on a AMD heat sink. Primarily for aesthetic purposes, to match the the black and white theme of the case. Even transferred the AMD sticker from the original fan.No issue with fitting the fan as alligned and clipped in nicely.Brought temperatures down by an average of 3 degrees. May not sound much however the CPU goes up only to 61 degrees with stress benching and idles around 32 degrees as only a 65w CPU.Fan is nice and quiet and I don't run it above 50%.Comes with a variety of rubber corner colours to choose from, but no Linus orange for his fans. These didn't come with my original fans and had to be brought separate back then. So was a nice addition to the pack. The PWM extension cable for the fan is slightly shorter than I would like. Plan to buy an extension cable to run it behind the motherboard to conceal it, rather than have it on display.Had a variety of fans from other manufacturers and can honestly say unless your a argb/RGB addict that noctua are perfect fans for the job.

Fits and works perfectly in a HP Z440
The rear exhaust fan on my HP Z440 was noisy and rattly 'AF'.Replaced with this fan. Boom, the noise is gone.Considering it is only a 92mm fan, it's extremely quiet at max RPM.I did cut one of the taps on the cable adapter (using pair of flush/side cutters), with a pair of flush/side cutters. This is due to HP's preparatory fan connectors. However, everything else is 'like for like'.If you're using an HP Z-System, I strongly recommend it.(Also you don't need to google 'Can I use PWM fans on my HP Z...' Yes. Yes, you can)

Quiet. Too quiet.
Bought two, one to replace an old cooler master hyper 212 Evo fan which had some bearings go badAnyway, I had to keep checking this thi g was working as it was so quiet. The other I bought for an aux gpu fan toove air over the back plate and heatsinks I added. Works like a charm. 5 or so degrees off the top end and about 1-2 off the resting. With only a minor amount of noises added at full whack. Seriously I don't know how boctua do it sometimes.

Great fan
Excellent product. Much quieter with the same effective cooling as my previous fan.

Lives up to the noctua reputation
What more can I say - its performant and borderline silent, its a noctua so if this fits you should get it.

Great Fan
The one thing you can always guarantee with a Noctua fan is that it's going to do it's job as quietly as is possible. No weird clicking or anything.Although there are other manufacturers, and probably some better value, if you don't want to spend half your life researching stuff then just pick up the Noctua!Like others in this thread, I replaced a 15mm fan with this 25mm fan for improved static pressure. Worked a treat. Greatly improved cooling. The fan comes well boxed with a 30cm lead. A bit too much for my PC, but there you are. There are also the coloured rubber corner tabs, which click in remarkably well.Highly recommended.

Useful reduction in noise level.
I've used these Noctua fans to replace the two fans in my QNAP 6-bay NAS. Using DecibelX on my iPhone, and recording at a distance of 30cm from the front of the NAS, it's showing a noise reduction of 6db to 8db. The Noctua fans are noticeably quieter and, given the NAS is on my desk, brings the noise levels in to an acceptable range. The original QNAP fans were 'just' too loud for my liking.

Silly plug placement
If you look at the third photo down in the product listing, you will see the actual placement of the connector, right on the actual fan. An extension lead is provided, but the socket only makes using it worse is you are using this as a second fan on a Noctua cooler. I presumed that this fan would be similar to the one that comes with the Noctua cooler with an actual lead and plug, as extra clips are included with the cooler for mounting this item as a second fan. Very poor design indeed if you want it on a cooler, probably fine for a case exhaust fan. This item could have been worth 5 stars
