Weaver Base Top Mount - 23

The fit and finish of these Weaver #12 mounts was perfect. They matched perfectly with the crown of the receiver on my Ruger American Rimfire .22LR rifle. The same top mount works for both the front and rear mount on that firearm. Highly recommended product over the Ruger 3/8" groove mount system that's already machined into the receiver. There's just not enough flexibility there with how far forward or rearward one can mount a scope, but the the Weaver-style mounts offer the opportunity to use offset scope rings for extended or reduced eye relief as needed.

What's not to like. The bases fit the receiver well and do their job. I can't see a need to use anything else.

I bought a pair of these for a Ruger American 22lr. These fit like a champ, and so far haven't backed out at all. If I was smart, I would've put a drop of lock-tite on each prior to sighting in the rifle. But now that it's done, I'm leaving it as it unless I start having issue w/ the scope not holding zero.

I purchased a set of these Weaver base mounts for my Marlin XT-17 .17HMR. They fit well and the included screws threaded without difficulty. The bases do not move and hold my rather heavy Nikon Buckmaster scope tight for repeatable accuracy. The blueing is complete and the design looks good on my rifle. There are some rough machine marks, nothing that interferes with the fit and function and really nothing that can be seen once installed with a scope. For the price I find the quality of this product acceptable and I would readily purchase again or recommend to a friend.

Bought two of these and mounted them on a Ruger American Rimfire .22 rifle which was designed for these mounts. Used these and AccuShot Picatinny/Weaver Medium Profile 2-piece 1-inch Rings with a Simmons .22MAG 3-9X 32mm A/O scope and it works great. Getting really nice groups on an indoor 50 foot range. Looking forward to trying this on the 100 yard range when summer gets here. Scope was a bit high, so you may be able to use low profile rings on the Ruger. If you buy the Simmons .22MAG scope, get the one with adjustable objective (A/O), it allows for better focus for use on 50 foot or 100 yd targets (I have the Simmons on a Savage MKII .22 that I use on both ranges).

I bought 2 of these and I could only use one for the front. The rear prevents the bolt from opening all the way. This is for a Savage Rascal 22lr. I still gave it 5 stars because they are well made and I was able to use one for the front.

Savage sells a mount for the rascal but this fits and works well as long as your only mounting a red dot

Installed them on my ruger American rimfire rifle to support scopes that mount on trails, and they work amazingly. They are secure and lock in tightly and can support the weight of my red dot

Bought for my ruger American standard in .22,fitted grand,and mounted my shield reflex,it arrived to the Scottish island I live on quicker than most the mainland sites can deliver,also the postage was nothing more that anywhere else would charge

Fit on my Marlin XT-22, had to order 2 as the Simmons rimfire scope has two rings. Not as confusing a concept as other reviewers have noted. Screws look deceptively large, they definitely fit the screw holes pre-drilled into the Marlin XT-22. Overall, one of the more worthwhile purchases I've made through Amazon.
