Good replacement
Old 1980s floodlight would have cost £55 or more to replace. They were costing £57 a year to run with the originals bulbs. I was worried that new bulbs were too pricey. However, the new bulbs are brighter and will cost less than £10 to run. paying for themselves within six months.

Brilliant LED Replacement
Bought these to reduce power consumption on a pair of old tungsten 150W PAR38 Lights. These are just as bright, if not brighter and only consume 30W VS original 300W lights. The fit into the E27 screw is perfect but I’ve had to install and slide O-rings up against the existing rubber seals as the point that the taper starts is a few millimetres further away from the base. Ive used plenty of silicone paste (not adhesive) to get a really weatherproof seal. It’s too early to comment on lifespan but they work so well, Ive ordered a spare pair.

Fitted a standard screw fitting for outside security light
It fitted as a direct replacement for a long serving external security light bulb and worked giving a good bright light . It uses a fraction of the power of the bulb it replaced which was decades old. The fact it is water resistant was a strong plus and it has survived a lot of rain so farDelivery was prompt

Great bright white bulb
I had a quote from a local electrcian who quoted me £265 to change to a different fitting, which I did not want. He also told me this was no longer sold! . I realised that was a rip off so looked on Amazon and found the bulb there. So I ordered it, and then climbed my step ladder (turned the electrics off firstly) and then replaced it. All for under £20! Job done! And great light once again.

They both stopped working after 2-3 month
These floodlights are not worth the money - one stopped working after 2 month and last weekend the second one stopped working. They promise average life span 30.000 hours and 24 Months No Quibble UK Guarantee. These two lasted 2-3 month and possibly 300-400 hours.Intend to return them as I expect the honor the guarantee.
