May not work initially
The remote didn't work right away. It would work and then it wouldn't. Over a period of 2 or 3 days I had to keep syncing the remote with my Samsung TV. I have had the remote for 30 days now and it is working fine after the initial hiccups. I would have given the remote a 5 star if it had work from the beginning.

New BN59-01292A Can not control Channel function
Description of item “New BN59-01292A Replace Voice Remote Control “ matches my original remote, however will not sync to control channel function.Reviews show many successful other purchasers, unfortunately- did not work for us. Will need to purchase OEM remote.

No way to insert batteries
LOOKS great, has an arrow stamped on the back to show where to insert batteries. Unfortunately, there is no place to insert them. I bought this as a replacement so I know where they are supposed to go. But what I received was a non-functional replica of the real thing. I guess you get what you pay for and I evidently did not pay for the battery case.
