Tiffany Style Mission Floor Lamp

For what you're getting, this is pretty impressive. Compared to similar Tiffany/Mission/Arts and Crafts style floor lamps sold here on Amazon, the $115 price (at the time of this review) gets you a very attractive, decent quality floor lamp. The star of the show is clearly the lamp shade, which is richly colored and has a beautiful geometric design. It looks better in the person than in the pictures. Impressively, while the material is plastic, it does a really convincing job of imitating stained glass, right down to bubbles and random variations in opacity of the individual "glass" segments. Really nicely done.Another nice touch is the lamp base is solid metal. It stabilizes the lamp and seems a better material choice than the cast and painted resin used on similar lamps in this price range.Assembly is simple: the wire cord is already installed and runs through the pedestal base, a decorative base column, the three pole segments and finally the twin light socket cluster. Everything is pre-threaded and since the wire cord runs through the parts, it's impossible to assemble them out of order. You simply screw the components together, one after another. The last two steps are adding a threaded tube into the top of the light cluster and then setting the lamp shade in place.As other reviewers have pointed out, the lamp shade is very wobbly when first assembled. The threaded tube it rests on is a smidge too long and the square metal finial runs out of internal threading before it can tighten against the top of the lamp shade. Also as other reviewers have helpfully suggested, the solution is the addition of a single metal washer underneath that final. It nicely fills that gap and everything screws down nice and tight. If you don't have a washer handy, I'm sure you could get creative. The two black wire twist ties you need to remove from the pull chains could be wrapped around that threaded tube between the top of the lamp shade and the metal final, and would accomplish the same thing. Might even blend in a little better than the silver washer I had lying around.I'm docking one star from my review because that wobbly lamp shade issue seems to be a consistent (albeit minor) flaw in this product. The manufacturer could easily solve the problem by including that needed washer (preferably in antique bronze or black to match the appearance of the rest of the hardware), but has thus far has failed to do so.Still, my initial point stands: this is a very high value product. If you don't have $300+ to spend on a more authentic, real stained glass floor lamp of this style, and are willing to take a few seconds to correct that one minor flaw, this is an attractive, quality lamp at a very good price.

Am very impressed with this lamp....it is a nice looking lamp for the money. The base is heavy, making the map very stable. For those that are picky about the quality of the shade...you get what you pay for. My living room windows are stained glass. My dining room ceiling light is a Tiffany. If you want the same quality in a floor map be prepared to spend 10X the cost of this lamp.Concerning this company's customer service.....it doesn't get any better. I bought this lamp for the den in my vacation cabin. Since we were remodeling the den, we didn't unpack it until 10 weeks after we had received it. Upon unpacking it, I discovered the shade was damaged. I decided to notify the company of what had occurred, and was ready to be told that too much time had passed for a replacement. Literally within 5 minutes of sending my email, they replied saying they would send me a new shade....which I received within a week in perfect shape. I wish all companies had this kind of customer service!!!

Lamp is very good quality for the money. Not sure why some are saying it's not. It's made of metal and glass so it's a heavy sturdy lamp. I did not have a problem with needing a washer for the finial as some have mentioned as there was already an adjustable nut included so I think the company is listening to feedback and improving. As the photo shows, I would like it to be shorter so the lightbulbs don't show when I'm sitting, but I knew that before i bought it, so not a flaw of the lamp.

I bought two off these lamps and am very pleased. The assembly was quick and easy. It is easy to make sturdy so the lampshade does not wobble if you adjust the height on the final placement screw to match the depth of the finial. The shade is very attractive, not true to the picture, where it appears to be white, but is true to the description of amber, brown and green. A very nice lamp for the price.

I absolutely love this lamp! The craftsmanship is first rate. They shipped it on time as promised and it was so well packaged, the glass shade came through with no damage. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for that right piece to accent your room.

It's a gorgeous lamp with a gorgeous price. The workmanship is okay. The panels could use some more support soldered in but it works. The lamp was damaged in transit and the company was very easy to work with in getting a replacement. I would recommend this lamp to anyone looking for prairie style glass.

This is a lovely lamp. It arrived on time and it took me only a few minutes to assemble. I do recommend adding another washer under the finial to make the shade more secure. Otherwise, it's a very sturdy lamp.
