I was a bit skeptical after reading some reviews, some people were complaining about scratched or damaged parts etc.. but mine came in perfect. The assembly is a little tedious, especially if you don't have any assembly experience. It will probably be easier having someone assist you. The manual/guide is good but not detailed enough to eliminate the possibility of making a mistake. If you like assembling things for fun, with some challenge, like i do... This is a perfect task for you. My advice would be, look at the final image a lot while you are assembling it and it will help you.Also, think about what you are assembling and how parts will fit together lol. Overall, it looks great and it is sturdy (if you assemble it right maybe lol) I will def recommend!!!!However, i couldn't get the remote for the lights to work yet...I will try changing out the battery and see.

It takes a very long time to put together. If you have a friend to help, call them. One of the glass pieces were broken upon arrival but of course that is not their fault. Overall 10/10 I absolutely love it.

So I was somewhat skeptical as I read the reviews but wanted to really give this thing a chance.Now to get the cons out of the way: this was annoying to build.The actual products had questionable quality; some of the screws were easily striped and it was a literal pain to screw them in with my tools. Not only that. But a lot of these predrilled holes made for the screws were a lot smaller than needed to be. So much so I had to actually use my own pocket knife to carve more room for the screws to better dig and settle into position. Even then my hands got blisters from the added pressure I had to give when screwing them in via my screw driver. Hell there was a point where the bottom piece where you drill the support ground stands in the base was lacking any proper predrilled hole to work with. Thankfully, it still managed to hold with the two screws that I had to work with per support.Not only that but some pieces had surface damage; some had scratches but these were far in between and quite minor.Another issue is that the instructions were at times poorly explained. Be it not being clear indications of how things needed to be installed/positioned. 2 occasions i had to take a few steps back to reverse certain alignments to avoid issues towards the end.Overall there HAS to be a review of the instructions and quality assurance of the pieces given to build this thing. I promise that there would be better reviews if those adjustments were made.In the end?The result is a very nice looking stand. I do like how it turned out despite the troublesome build and I am quite happy with what is in my living room. The look is nice, the light affects makes me smile especially at night. And that clean black reflection is icing on the cake. Holds my 65 inch TV and consoles quite well and I am quite happy in the end to keep this.If you want this, keep in mind to be careful when building it and it's ideal to have someone to help you since I did this by myself and took 4-5 hours to get it right. Also doesn't come with tools so keep that in mind also.

The media could not be loaded. I contemplated buying this for a few months. Read almost every review. It didn’t seem that bad from reviews...well i regret buying this and will be returning it. First off, it came with horrible scratches all over it. That should have been my first sign to just return it.. but I thought maybe I could deal with it. The assembly is a NIGHTMARE!!! 5+ hours and lots of cuss words later..None of the holes for any of the screws fit properly. You have to force EVERYTHING into place and it just chips the black paint off. This is NOT worth the almost 200$ they want for it. The drawers are so small they are pointless to even have. The glass does not stay in place at all. And I know the dimensions are stated but I’m sorry it seems SO much smaller in person. It’s way to low to the ground. I do not trust putting our $2k tv on top of this. I would say max a 40in tv. You can say we didn’t assemble it correctly but we followed the PICTURE ( there’s literally NO words to tell you what to do. All pictures) instructions to a T and it still looks crappy. It’s wobbly and not sturdy at all! I reached out to the company about a return with no response so I’ll be submitting it thru Amazon. Overall POOR MANUFACTURING.

We were very happy in general with the quality of wood...looks expensive with a very nice gloss black finish. All the pieces, and, there are a lot of them, went together quite well. IN otherwords..everything fit together easily. It took a few hours to assemble but, I'm an old guy and had to take several breaks.All in all we are VERY satisfied with the TV stand...they did an excellent job of packing it to avoid damage, and, all the pieces except ONE small screw were included and my wife ran to a local hardware store for that...no biggie.So again...we are not sorry we bought it...and, we are happy to give a very good review here.Larry Hayesps..The Fed Express shipping communication left a lot to be desired....but, no fault of Mecor.

EDIT: I took out a lot of negative things I said in this review, mainly because it was all said out of anger. First off. I love this thing. It's a real space saver, the Lights are really cool, and I love the glossy finish. However, I cant close the left drawer because the front parts of both drawers are too long, and overlap each other. This leaves a sizable gap in the left drawer. EDIT: IT WAS MY FAULT THIS HAPPENED, AND IM SORRY FOR MY PREVIOUS REVIEW. If this problem happens to you, switch the drawers. Turns out I put them in on the wrong sides. Make sure to follow the instructions EXTREMELY closely. It's simple to follow, but I made this mistake all on my own. That being said, I withdraw my earlier statements. This piece was everything I wanted. Seriously, get it for your own. Its awesome.
