I recently bought these fantastic solar lights, and they are a game-changer! What sets them apart is their size – bigger than most modern lights but not quite as large as the ones from the 70s and 80s. Their brightness is incredible, lighting up my outdoor space beautifully.These lights get about six hours of sun daily and impressively last most, if not all, of the night. The variety of modes adds a wonderful touch, allowing for a delightful display of colors. I’ve used two strands on a small tree, and they look marvelous.If you’re considering these lights for a full-size, seven-foot Christmas tree, I’d recommend three to four strands for a lush look, although one or two would suffice for a less dense coverage. The pack I purchased contained two strands, which worked well for my smaller tree.These lights are more suited for outdoor use, perfect for accenting bushes, trees, and shrubs. I bought these after I had set up all the Christmas lights on the house. I still felt like something was missing around the trees in the front so I got on Amazon and bought one just to see how it would look. The lights actually look amazing twirled around the palm tree, and quickly got back on Amazon to purchase more for the other trees. I love that they are solar powered, so I don’t have to run another cord out of the garage, and the multiple different settings allow me to play around and change the look as I see fit. Extremely fast shipping and well worth the money.

We just purchased these lights and are very happy with them. I put them up just before a big rainstorm struck and that didn't bother them at all. They work just as described. The location gets afternoon sun from about 1 pm to 5pm (sunset) and that is plenty to get the lights going. The lights are small and not super-bright, which is what we wanted. In our house they are laced into the top of our entry gate, with the solar panel fastened to one of its beams. I am sure they would look nice on a small tree too.One thing. Please read the little instruction book. (I know the print is very small. LOL) You will see that you have to switch it on before it will work, and also that it will stay longer if you choose the blinking option. I didn't read it and had to reach up and push both switches on when it didn't do anything the first night.

I got these for my grandma because she has no power outlet infront of her house so these solar lights saved the day!Unlike the other LED lights, these ones just shine better, I think it might be the plastic protecting the light bulb that makes them look brighter. The lights also have little hooks on the sides so you can easily attached them to a gutter which is a plus. My grandma also loves the different light modes she can pick from, I think next year I’ll invest in the longer pair of lights.

I bought two strings, the shorter 50 light string and the longer 100 light string. Set both up in full sun. When it got dark, the short string worked beautifully and is still working this morning. See photo. However, the longer string blipped on a couple times and then stayed dark, no matter how I pushed the buttons. It’s still dark this morning. A dud. Although I am happy with the shorter string, I am giving one star for 50% of my order not working.

After using these lights for a season, there are several pros. They are nice and bright on a full charge, seem reasonably well-built and, as advertised, run on solar power.The main con is that the sensor that tells the set that it's dark and it's time to turn on is 1) very sensitive and 2) mounted on the solar collector (which you'll want to place in an unobscured sunny spot to collect the most power).Because of the light conditions where I live, with a streetlight nearby, my set almost never turned itself on until long after sundown - like 9 p.m. or later. I solved the problem after the first few nights by putting a garden glove over the sensor when I was ready for the lights to power up.It's a small inconvenience, but annoying to have to kludge a new product. It also kinda made our overall display - which includes several conventional electric lights plugged into their own light-sensitive timer - look a little messy.If I had it to do over, I'd either use only sets like this one or only conventional plug-in sets - not mix them. And I might buy a different set unless I knew my yard would be quite dark after sundown.

These lights are fantastic and they save your electric bill! I have these on my roof and in my tree. They turn on when sun goes down and shut off when they die. I don't have to worry about an electricity bill or remembering to turn them off and on. I would recommend these over and over again! They are durable too! The first set for my roof, was purchased in 2021 and still going for the holidays! (I do take them down after the holidays and put them up for about a month before) So they are not up all year round.

We had three sets out from December to March this winter, and they kept working. They're seen on the fence in the foreground of the photo. They're not as bright as the plug-in lights in the background, but pretty good for solar. We could have done without the multiple flashing modes, because getting the lights set to stay on continuously is a time-wasting process.

Piece of junk. Did not work at all. I purchased 3 different types of outdoor solar lights and 2 of the 3 did not work. The other set of lights only work for about 2-3 hours before stopping.A complete waste of money.

Definitely waterproof

These were very small and not very bright at all.

Do not buy these lights, they stay lit for 2 mins and shut off. Will not stay lit.
