Bern Brighton Water Helmet

I purchased one of these helmets thinking purple would be awesome, and it was, it was just a women's medium which is smaller then a men's. I did not realize before purchasing this that helmet/hat sizes were based on women's/men's. The helmet is solidly built as I ended up with just a larger version of this helmet and I like it, it fits great and keeps my head from hitting the sliders at the cable park, but I felt like it should be noted since it wasn't clear to me reading the item description. This is a women's medium helmet.

This looked like a great value on a high quality product. I was not disappointed in this helmet. It does run on the large side of the sizes. I ordered a med size helmet for my wife and it fits my large head:) I would purchase this helmet again.

My head is 58cm and I bought a L size which description says it fits for heads between 57 and 59cm. My head's measure is in the middle of the range for this size and I can't even put my head inside the helmet.The helmet is really small, this L size corresponds to the description of an S size.It doesn't fit for heads bigger than 57 cm.

I ordered this helmet because it's the same as my roller derby helmet except this one is made for watersports. I've called it my "concussion proof" helmet since I have taken some hard hits and usually hardly feel them. My only complaint about this one is the white adjustment buckles dig into my jaw. My derby helmet has the black adjustment buckles and I don't seem to have this problem. My suggestion is to order this helmet but try to get the black adjusters on the straps.

love itEven the large size is not really large, and yet the price is much higher already. i was expecting more.
