Grows as Expected
I can't wait till these start to flower. I got the cutting, put it into soil. I can't remember if I followed the directions on the package or used directions I found online. There are several different thoughts on what type of soil mix to use. I have other plumeria cuttings that I started, and all in different soil mixes. So far my preference is good potting mix (I used organic catcus mix for draining), sphagnum moss (I might be remembering the name wrong, but it's what I use for my carnivorous plants), and just a handful or two of sand. I put pushed the cutting into the soil mix. I'd say I put about 3-4 inches of the cutting into the soil mix.The quality of the cutting is actually really good and very comparable to other cuttings I have received.Within the first week, the leaves started to grow. I live in an area where we get winter, and have no had the best luck with plumeria in winter. I was told to hibernate them all winter in a dark area. So we will see if mine do better this winter if I ignore them. :)

Satisfied
I was very happy this came quickly. It also arrived well packed and looks healthy. Strong stem cutting and not mushy. It’s now in potting soil and hopefully I can get it to root and take off growing. Fingers crossed.

No growth
I was very excited to grow another plumeria. However, after a weeks of waiting I didn't see any improvements. I bought plumeria from a different 7 years ago and was very happy with the outcome. With this one, it rotted. Very disappointed.

Good cutting
Received faster than expected. It was shipped within few hours of placing order. USpostal service delivered it in 4 days from Hawaii to the South. The plumeria cutting itself is long and healthy and green. It has 2 small branched shoots in a dormant but ready to go state! The stub felt dry and overall plant appearance was somewhat dehydrated so I placed it in a glass with water right away and showered it in tab water. My only note is that it was loose in a delivery box. It was just placed in a fold on a paper (see picture) without any fixation. It wasn’t in a plastic bag that I saw on photos from the advertisement and people who bought it. If they run out of plastic packaging, they could just place a few staples in to keep the paper secured around the plumeria shoot so it wouldn’t bounce around, or fill the empty space with more paper and keep the moisture around the shoot while in transfer.I really liked simple planting instructions glued to the inside on the package!Edited 6/09/2025. See attached photo update. I planted it the same day I received it. Used raised garden soil in a gallon pot outdoors. The soil had plenty of wood chips and drained well. When I water my plant, I make sure water runs through and out of the pot. Never superficial watering (just as you would water an orchid plant). During first 4-5 weeks I watered twice a week. As the plant developed new leaves and outside temperatures went up to upper 80th - 90th, I water every 2-3 days. The plant catches all morning sun and is hidden from hot afternoon sun.

Growing well. Small leaves starting after only 3 weeks!
Arrived healthy. Just a stick of course, but getting small leaves after just 3 weeks, so looking good!

Quality cutting
This is my third plumeria from this seller and all three have arrived in excellent condition with the last two readily sprouting leaves, good cutting stalk and end. They have joined my mature plumeria in its large container until they fully root and ready for pots of their own. So far so good.

Nice, healthy stalk
Was pleased to see the size and health of the stalk received. There was definite growth on it which encouraged me to plant it. Hasn’t bloomed yet but it’s definitely ‘taken’ and hopefully in a few weeks I’ll have some booms!

DO NOT BUY
I bought this cutting because some neighbors have beautiful plumerias in their yards. I wanted to grow my own. I got this in the mail and everything looked fine. After a couple days I followed the planting instructions and I've gotten nothing. Now it looks like it's dying. I of course can't get a refund because the window for that has closed. I'm not happy with this purchase at all. The other plumerias I bought have started to bud and I can't wait to see and smell the beautiful flowers. I guess, I like a few others reviews, were just sent a dud. If the seller is reading this, I'd be willing to change my review if you'd send a replacement and it buds.
