Ok for coins not notes
It’s ok for coins but getting notes into it is more difficult as it has a very tight spring in the opening slot at the top. Even too tight for coins. Other than that it’s ok.

Bought as a gift for a friend who had quit smoking and was motivated to save up the money he was saving on cigarettes, and also his tips from work.He has enjoyed watching his savings go up, and likes to update me on what he’s saved so far.He’s delighted, and I’m happy he’s happy. Can’t ask for more than that.Comes with a little screwdriver for opening the battery compartment which I really appreciated, as while I know I had one that size SOMEWHERE, I would have taken quite some time to find it.Battery wasn’t included but I had AAA batteries in the house so it wasn’t a problem for me - something to be aware of though.We tested it out with all coin sizes and it proved to be accurate.

Think again before buying the piggy
I’ll like to say I wanted to get a piggy bank for my son. This seemed like the perfect item for him however it went downhill in a matter of hours.It got delivered today and I eagerly got it out and set it up. At first it was ok, however it just ended up being really bad. It started counting 2p as 50p (this happened 20 times), then it was counting imaginary 5p about 10 times. It had counted £14.67 when I only counted £4.49 (ended up counting everything by hand and using brainpower). Then the buttons on the lid stopped working so I couldn’t count anything.It was honestly a disaster. For the price you’d expect something to last. This item lasted 1 hour maybe less for me. So I’ve asked for return and refund which l be sorting out tomorrow. It’s a shame honestly because I loved the piggy design.

Tolle Spardose mit Zählwerk im Deckel. So weiß man immer wie viele Euros noch fehlen für den Ferrari oder der Insel in der Karibik. Da passt ordentlich was rein.

Leider wenn nicht geeignet für Kinder!wenn man die Münze nicht bei dem ersten versuch durchdrücken kann und wieder rausgedrückt wird, zählt das Gerät trotzdem einen geldbetrag hoch, obwohl kein Geld reingefallen ist.
