Still working after two years
I bought this umbrella in June 2021 and have been using it pretty much spring through fall ever since. It has worked to help in the rain as well as the sun. We have mainly been using it for the sun, though it does take some adjustment—especially if you are out walking and you change directions depending on how low the sun is in the sky— you may need to adjust the position of the umbrella again to keep the sun off of you; so it’s not like set it and forget it unless the sun is high noon in the sky. Usually my husband will wear it and I will adjust it for him as we’re on our walk. It is important to use the adjustment screws on the back plate to pivot and angle it just right if the sun is not straight up in the sky. The umbrella has taken quite a beating since we live in a windy place, and one of the poles has recently broken, but it hasn’t affected the overall use of the umbrella. And it just broke probably two months ago, so up until that point it nothing was broken even though we use it in the wind all the time. So it’s still working and getting seasonal daily use even after two years. I see a lot of people on here claim it’s not durable. I’m not sure how ours has done well when theirs failed. As far as the straps length, we haven’t had any issues. My husband is 6’4” and can wear it comfortably.

Not easy to adjust. Chest straps fall out of loops while trying to put it on
All the adjustment pieces are have to be screwed to full tightness once the desired position is found, but aren't easy to reach while wearing it, so you won't be sure it's the position you want until after you've fussed with it and gotten it back on.The straps that go around your chest run through loops for the stops going over your shoulders, but aren't secured to these straps, so they fall out of the loops as you try to sling this thing on. It makes putting it on very difficult. All-in-all it needs an overhaul to be a good product.

Unbalanced
I like the concept unfortunately once you put it on, the umbrella leans in one direction it doesn’t stay straight. I tried adjusting it in many different positions and the outcome is still the same. While adjusting it I noticed it’s way to many parts that you need to change. I will suggest less screws and simpler configuration. The original umbrella broke within days but that was not a big since it holds any umbrella.

Does what it says it does.
This is better than i expected. Which is rare! LOL! It’s just like any Backpack once you put it on you don’t really feel it anymore. I bought it mostly to keep the sun off my back in the hot Florida sun while I’m working in the yard as previously I was working with one hand and holding an umbrella and the other! 🤦♂️ You can adjust the angle of this slightly which makes it usable while you’re standing up straight or when you’re kneeling down to keep the maximum amount of sun off of you. The umbrella is a little larger than a “normal“ umbrella which is obviously a bonus. The height is also extremely adjustable which is nice and again it allows you to maximize or minimize the amount of sun or rain hitting you. As far as durability I haven’t worn it to much but seems to withstand normal amount of wind.

A bit disappointed
Umbrella is large and with the harness and umbrella rod behind you are only covered by about 1/4, at its edge. They could have reshaped the umbrella not to waste 3/4 of the area, as such beach chairs have. Will need to swap in my beach chair umbrella . Also with the supplied umbrella one needs to be very, very careful when walking and other people are about not to have the umbrella edges poke another person.
