Discover your inner creativity...if you've lost it, rediscover it with this book
You and I were born with the ability to create, but somewhere along the line someone told to us ignore it and get a "real" job, go to school, get married--the list goes on and on. Mark Silber's latest creation, Create: Tools from Seriously Talented People to Unleash Your Creative Life, gives you the wonderful opportunity to capture the inner creative you know you have inside...buried deep inside...the one dying to escape!Mark will walk you through the process of creativity, whether it be art, photography, writing, or just living and enjoying all the beauty around us. He does this by describing his own creative process, and through a series of interviews with other world-class creative people who explain what makes them get up in the morning and tap into their inner creativity. For me, one the best features of this amazing book is found at the end of each section. There the reader is encouraged to answer a series of questions about the particular topic under consideration. Answer these questions honestly, and you’ll soon discover what’s been holding you back from being as creative as you know you can be!Read—no, study this book and you will soon have more creative juices flowing than you knew you had.

A workbook for getting creative
!I'm totally digging this book! I loved the interview with Scott Kelby that you did just as the book was being released. And doing that observation drill while I walk. What an eye opener. I read your book at night before I go to bed and sometimes in the morning. This is Not just a book you read think about a few things, and then put down and maybe read a year later. No. This is a workbook. The more you do the exercises, the more you'll get out of it. The interviews are thoughtful, interesting and shed light onto the lives of how creative really work. I highly recommend it. I'll probably buy three more books to give away.

Learn to create with the tools you already have.
This book was like a catalyst in chemistry class. It’s not the oxygen or the hydrogen it’s the catalyst that puts them together and makes water. The reader is the oxygen and hydrogen. It showed me what I already had and wasn’t using. It was the energy that fueled my motivation. The first thing I got from reading this book was how to overcome my procrastination. Driving by a scene and saying oh that would be a good photograph I’ll come back later. There is no later. It will never be the same again. So stop and take the photograph now. This book will help you. It helped me and will continue to help me as I refer to it in the future.

A book for ALL
Everyone can benefit from increased creativity. This book elegantly demonstrates the need for creativity in all fields--from artists to surgeons. Even better, this book serves as a workbook to guide the reader through the journey to enhanced creativity. Through simple logic and basic suggestions, the myth of creativity is unraveled and packaged in a user-friendly format. It's a great read that will change the way you live your life

One of my newest favorite books
I am very pleased with the way the book goes through the creativity behind a lot of photographers and artists' approach to making their art. There are more ideas than you can imagine in the book and the stories and interviews are truly a blast to read.

Author's Autobiography
I got tempted by the positive reviews (the only argued) about this book, but what I can say, based on my impression, is that in addition to generally good advice that revolves around the usual pillars of being creative and persevering, the book looks like propaganda for his photographs. the author tells his story, interspersed with interviews with those who work and live thanks to their creativity. All very superficial.the book rather than a collection of interviews seems impregnated with the ego of the author who every two pages puts a photograph taken by him and.. let's face it, he could also choose them better if that was the intent. It doesn't even allow time for an interviewed character to make it appear that..... HOP! another photo taken by him and unsolicited advice "from the top of his fame".This was the impression made to me.I have read other books on creativity and encouraging our creative side and this definitely deviates, as you continue reading, from the main theme, to lead to an unsolicited autobiography.
