Tsukineko Full-Size Emboss Inkpad, Clear

Sorry to say that I have not used this particular pad yet, but it is a replacement for one like it, and IT worked great for heat gun embossing on homemade cards. Good brand that you can trust. Buy it!

The inkpad was already pretty juicy when it arrived, but I added a little VersaMark clear inker because I prefer my inkpads extra juicy. So far the results that I've gotten from the pad have been excellent. the ink adheres well to every stamp I've tested, and does a great job holding onto my extra fine embossing powders. I haven't tried the pad out with my more coarse embossing powders, but I'm not concerned about having problems. My only niggle about the pad is that, while I like that the top lid is hinged to fold under the bottom and serve as a base, I wish that it locked when it's in this position. When you're using it and have the top folded beneath the bottom of the pad, the inkpad tends to lift up. I may someday upgrade to the Big & Bossy embossing pad because it's so much bigger, but for now, this meets all of my needs.

Pretty good pad over all, it does the job. However, I feel like mine was a bit dry and did not completely wet my stamp. I do like the cover, you can flip it over and stuff. Would not repurchase but will refill my own DIY recipe.

We used this for our wedding invite cards and also for the table cards with stamps we bought from Paper Source. Worked great and much cheaper online than in store. We marked 100 table cards and 100 wedding invites and still have no idea how much is left.

This is a great product for a reasonable price.

Pad is not the dane pad in the picture. Pad came almost dry. I can't use it. Ink is so low it will not stay wet enough to emboss.

I may have rated this higher if I actually knew how to use it. It doesn't come with any instructions whatsoever. I had to do my own research online. It is possibly dried out. When I touch it, it feels dry. I have no idea if that is normal. I was trying to adhere embossing powder to shrink plastic jewelry. The very first piece I pressed on it left behind a lot of color on the pad! I didn't try any more, because I was afraid the colors would transfer. I went ahead and applied the embossing powder and hit it with the heat gun. It had a rough, uneven finish. Once again, I don't know if that's normal for this product. I ended up applying Ranger glossy accents liquid the next time and got fantastic results.

This is a great product for heat embossing using any color embossing powder and even alone for clear embossing like I did black on black. Big enough for many sizes of stamps. Washes off well from the stamps.
