Perfect for Origami!
If you've ever bought a package of origami paper, they include one sheet of 6x6 inch gold foil paper. This is the exact same product. It behaves to folding the same way as the paper you expect to.This is NOT for amateur origami. This paper is thinner than printer paper, and it is thinner than origami paper. It's not "Like a candy wrapper" as some reviews have said. It is what origami artists expect it to be. And most importantly, it is able to not only hold shape well, but fold things so small that you shouldn't be able to make them. I've already folded a wasp that is impossible to make with A4 printer paper, with just a square of the 3x3 version of this product.

Thick and foldable origami paper!
Bought these to make name cards for my wedding. These are great. It's thick paper and fold easily. It's shiny gold on one side and white on the other. You'll have to be careful with the gold side Cut you'll be able to see all scratches and smears. I had to put plain white paper on the bottom before I fold and I used a post it pad to make the creases.. Didn't want my nails to Scratch the gold and it worked. The name cards came out great.

Worked well on 5"x7" envelopes
My husband and I glued these to the inside of our wedding envelopes. They bent and wrinkled fairly easily so you have to be careful when handling them, but they were absolutely gorgeous on the envelopes! Our envelopes were 5"x7" and we did not have to cut or alter these squares.

The paper itself is nice, and thick as stated
I got this for my work Christmas party. I had big plans for it, but it was not the gold color what I as going for. I wanted something more bright (closer to yellow) and this was nearly the gold shade that I was going for. The paper itself is nice, and thick as stated. It just was a different shade than what I wanted, so I returned the item.

Decent paper
This paper is pretty decent. Of course like any foil paper, it's ideal for not only making it shiny, but is practical for anyone that has to deal with paper warping over time due to weather changes. One difference I noticed with this paper however is that it's fairly thick compared to the Aitoh/Fold 'Em foil papers. This could be good or bad depending on what you're doing. Sometimes you really want the thin papers if you're worried about several layers of paper causing stress to mountain folds that will show. These can rip if you're doing intricate models such as animals. Personally, I do modular origami which requires simpler folds but high precision, so this paper is ideal for that. Just be aware of your needs and order accordingly. The foil on this paper though is quite durable. I make sharp creases and the foil doesn't rub off very easily compared to the thinner, more popular brands I mentioned. Also, be aware that these are not 6" squares. They're actually the standard 5 7/8" squares. This isn't a bid deal for most customers I'm guessing, but I actually ordered them because they were 6" squares since I am doing models with 2" squares I had previously and wanted to be able to cut these in to thirds to finish the model. Can't do that now, but I'm still glad I made this purchase.Delivery was quick, it is 100 sheets in a pack. Next time I order several packs, I'll ask if the shipping cost can be combined in the same order. I got slapped with 2 separate shipping costs even though they came in the same bag.

easier to handle than I thought
I haven't worked with foil paper much before, so maybe they're all this good, but I was expecting something that crumpled easily and had too much 'memory' for each slightly mis-folded crease. But these appear to be made of regular origami paper lined with a thin sheet of foil on one side, and they were more forgiving than I expected. Still a little trickier to handle than regular paper, but also very pretty.

Would buy again. Pretty results for the kawasaki rose!.
Can't beat the price. Folds well. Maintains the shape of my kawasaki origami roses well. Thick, but not too thick.

Disappointed Bride to Be
I usually do not write reviews, but as a planning bride, I must warn any creative bride that wants to use this for her wedding. This paper is very thin and is not durable to make basic origami projects, such as a crane. It feels and looks like thin aluminum paper, so the end result has too many wrinkles and looks like chewing gum wrapping paper. If this is being used for casual projects or for practice this may work, but it's not worth your money. I was hoping this would work for the creation of 1000 cranes for my wedding ceremony. Unfortunately, it did not pass the test for any wedding standard.
