Everything when very well from getting the keys cut to get them programmed

Once cut by local locksmith it was easy to program with my Jeep. Took 5 mins for 2 keys. Keys were cut for $8. Self programmed for free. Out $28 for 2 keys. Dealer wanted $60 to program 1 key not including price of key. Don't go to dealer.

I recently bought a 2010 Jeep Wrangler and it came with one factory key fob with worn down buttons and a spare key. I got these key fobs to replace the old keys. My husband was able to get them cut for free from Lowes. Then we tried to program them following the instructions for the new keys. Several unsuccessful attempts. Both of the old keys started the engine, but only one of them was a factory original. We then used an OBD App and were finally able to program both keys! They work great! Only downside is that they seem to be a little larger than the factory original, so the protective cases I also purchased on Amazon don't fit perfectly. Otherwise, these keys were a great value!

Just like the original keys, the only thing was I could only get one key to program!

I bought these to replace the original key fobs that no longer worked. I had the keys cut at my local lock Smith for 5 bucks a piece and programed them myself. It only took a few tries for my 09 wrangler

Soo.. I bought the keys, took them to have them programmed, which turned out to be a disaster in and of itself; after finally having them "programmed," the fob would lock and unlock the alarms but would randomly put my jeep into a state of shut down because the "chip" inside the key, (a separate function of the programming), wouldn't register, so it simply wouldn't start. Got stranded 3 times waiting on the original which started it every time, and has every time since I stopped using this POS! Be warned

The first key programmed very easily. The second key took a few tries. Most of the time the keys work as expected but, sometimes the car alarm goes off when you lock the car. Not sure why.

When we ordered these we we're quite optimistic as we only had one key. Once ordered we called the locksmith and were told the keys wouldn't work. We were going to return them but decided to go to a keycutting place in person, only to be told that even after they were cut, they wouldn't work. Paid the $6 to have both cut, and the locksmith wished my husband good luck lol. Started vehicle, programmed, worked great. Easy! Saved a fortune. Now, we originally only had one key but after we ordered these the previous owner found the other key. Without 2 programmed keys these would have been useless.Very happy. We have lots of keys now lol!

It didn't work. When I read the instructions it said that you have to have 2 working fobs before you can program the new fob. It also said that your vehicle had to be an American made vehicle. Mine is Canadian made.
