First… I LOVE this heat cap! So nice to put it on and be able to keep moving around the house and not be stuck under a hooded dryer. One thing though, 2 min in the microwave doesnt seem to stay heated too long, but 3 min, its too hot and the part touching my head on top feels too hot for my scalp. I will need to find the sweet spot between 2-3 min.

I like that this cap came with instructions bc I never used one of these before and wasn’t sure how it worked but I wanted one bc I heard a lot of good benefits from using this, it does have weight to it but it’s not too heavy to the point where it’s uncomfortable to wear I love this cap a lot if you’re sensitive about having weighted stuff on your head then don’t buy bc this ain’t for you

This conditioning cap is great. It keeps you from being stuck sitting under a dryer for 30 to 45 minutes while your conditioner works it’s magic. It is well-made and looks like it will hold up. It has good heat and it holds the heat for a good 20 minutes, but you will most likely need to reheat it if you keep your conditioner on for longer than 20 minutes. I docked one star because the cap is a little small, especially if you have a larger head like I do. I would’ve honestly only taken off half a star for this but that was not an option.

I had doubts if this bonnet could work as a dryer does when moisturizers are applied to the scalp and ends. I can say it works BETTER. my hair is soft and moisturized. Once you get the understanding of 1 minute or 2 to set microwave then its easy peezy. Just follow the directions. Excellent buy!!!!

I bought this because I had a substantial tangled blob on my head and didn't want to chop off my hair. Although it did not help with the knot, it did make my hair very soft, and the warmth of the cap made my scalp feel so good. It also comes in an adorable little bag with free accessories. I love it and would recommend it.

I wanted to love this so bad, but it’s only ok. I have a short haircut but 4c hair and this barely fit over my hair. If my fro was bigger it would be hard to fit. It also didn’t stay hot for the full 15-20 min recommended although it was fairly hot at the beginning. There is also no heat on the sides, so that’s something to consider. I would prefer a bigger cap with heated pockets all the way down to the elastic.

The product I received is well-constructed. It feels comfortable on. With my microwave, I have to use the full two minutes doing it in bursts of 30 seconds on medium heat. Seems to help increase absorption of the hair masks that I'm using. Two downsides, but I knew these would be possibilities before buying: doesn't stay really warm for more than 15 minutes or so and even though I wear a disposable shower cap, some moisture still gets on the inside of the heat cap. It would be nice to be able to submerge the cap to wash it rather than just wiping it off. Maybe if they make a 2.0 model, make it so you fit a washable cover over a removable heatable core with the flaxseed in it. I chose the flaxseed cap over the gel varieties because of ratings and what I believe to be the least likelihood of product defects or hot spots.
