Very good jet burner!!!
The media could not be loaded. I got the 36” jet burner for our fire pit which is 48” in diameter. We were hooking this up to a 3/4” supply gas line which was reduced from a 2” OD supply line that was pulled from the MAIN gas meter which was about 50’ away.We did all the plumbing then filled it up with sand until all the connections are under the sand, then filled up the remaining pit with lava rock all the way to the top of the jet burner nozzles. The nozzles were entirely covered with lava rock like may be an inch; we then added about 2” of crushed glass to cover all of the lava rock. This crushed glass on the top does couple things; 1) It covers the lava rock to make it look pretty; we used a combination of blue, white and copper; 2) It creates a combustion effect while starting the fire pit; that way you lit up just one nozzle and the emitted gas catches fire and lights up all the other jet nozzles; it also makes the flame look very natural... otherwise you will have to light up each and every jet nozzle and the flame also looks like a torch which IMO is not so pretty. It is very important to leave some weep holes at the bottom of the fire pit for the water to seep out when it rains. Any standing water can make the glass to burst/explode when you ignite the burner.Overall, a very good jet burner!!! Highly recommend it!!! Please give me a thumbs up if you like the review...or ask away any questions!!!!

Great flame, pretty quiet!
Works awesome, doesn't make much noise, much higher flame than a non-jetted one.

No more whistle, way higher flames!
We had a gas fire pit built several years ago. We had the no whistle gas line installed as well. With our old 24" standard gas ring, we had a high pitch, constant noise from the gas flow and about a 2" flame max coming out of each hole. We just switched to this new high flame ring 18" and it has made a huge difference. Flames are now 6-8" high and no more whistle. The only bad thing I have to say is packaging was poor and the weld connections aren't the prettiest.

Excellent Product - Learned a Few Things
This was my first time building a natural gas fire pit so it took a little trial and error. I chose this fire ring because it got good reviews and was the size I needed to fit inside of the pit I selected. I separately purchased a 40" pit that had been used to burn wood. I ran natural gas to it from below via a 1/2" line.Keep in mind if you go this route you will need to purchase a separate adapter to mate whatever size line you run to the 3/4" female opening on this ring.I also ordered the lava rocks on Amazon. In the first pic you see all the flames lit on the low setting. It does not work great like this and they even say in the instructions to cover the burners with 1" to 2" max of either fire glass or lava rocks. This is crucial because literally the flames will blow out with the slightest wind if you don't add some media on top.Once I elevated the rocks like in the second pic and covered the burners it was a night and day difference. It was explained to me that small gas pockets form and improve how it burns. At first I thought it was the burner but since adjusting has been totally fine. Puts out plenty of heat and burns consistently on natural gas with little to no noise. The only complaint I might have is the packaging was not great. There was no styrofoam or anything protecting the burner tops which popped through the cardboard box. Fortunately there was no damage. It works great, puts out heat and nice flame.

If you want a higher flame in your fire pit jet burner is the way to go
You will get a higher flame than a standard ring of equal size but you need to have realistic expectations. It increased the flame height approximately 12 inches overall. There is also a better look due to a higher peak in the center of the fire giving it a more natural appearance. The cost is 20 percent of a crossfire burner and although it may not compare equally in quality it is a great value for the money.

Great product for price, huge flame!
The media could not be loaded. Great product. Improved our fireplace immensely. For those saying it doesn't shoot flames high enough, I also purchased a new hose to connect the propane tank directly to this burner (had to go to hardware store to purchase a brass fitting though). The hose had a red variable dial on it to control the flow, so I completely removed the stock items on the fire pit and installed this burner and new hose. It's outstanding! I'm actually scared to turn it all the way up. Check the pictures, very little flow from tank to achieve that height.

Product is Worthless! Doesn't light!!
I bought this product in good faith that it would work. Because of COVID, it took me several months to assemble all the parts I needed to rebuild my fire pit. Unfortunately, this was one of the first things I bought. By the time I had everything I needed to rebuild my fire pit, this fire ring would not light up! I had to light every single tube individually with a blow torch before it would light up!!! And my gas pressure is NOT the problem!! My contractor (who did the work) and I both feel this fire ring is worthless!!! And now, because of the time that has passed, I can't even get a refund!!! TOTAL LOSS!!!
