Blessed Assurance - The Gospel Hymns Of Fanny J. Crosby

It does not state on the outside of the cover what level it is for, so I was disappointed when I received the book. The arrangements are easily attainable by an intermediate level player, but I was looking for something with fuller, more lush arrangements. If you are familiar with Cindy Berry, this book is not up to the level of difficulty of the majority of her books. However, there is never any waste when you have piano students. One of my students will enjoy this book and find it challenging.

Some of the books I have ordered have been super difficult with notes I have to guess what they are. then each time I try to play it is like a different song. This book has been fairly easy,i still have to keep practicing. I had 11 years of music lessons along time ago, so maybe this will help someone else know if the book would be hard for them or too easy. Nice arrangements

Another wonderful book of piano solos by Cindy Berry. Her music is excellent and very rewarding for playing in church or other events such as funerals or weddings. I highly recommend this book for all pianists. She has excellent arrangements. I have purchased all her books from Amazon. You won't be disappointed with any of her books of piano music.

This is not my favorite book by Cindy Berry but the Fanny Crosby songs are nice. However, I know that easy arrangements are useful and that is what these are. I just know how great Mrs. Berry's arrangements can be, that I guess I was just disappointed.

This is an easier book than some of Cindy Berry's others but as always she has beautiful introductions and interludes and does a great job making the melody interesting with chord changes. Its perfect for preludes or offertory when you don't have a lot of time to practice. I really enjoy playing out of this book.

Beautiful arrangements. I'm so glad I purchased this book. I just know this will become one of my favorites! Very reverent and lovely.

The music arrangments are between easy to intermediate levels.

It suits my purpose
