Working like a champ for a 7 AP, 80 user WiFi network.
Used this to power 7 Unifi AP AC Lite devices for a small local church and school and it works great. It was easy to setup and has kept the AC Lite's running non-stop for about 60 days now without a hiccup. If you are using this for power purposes, also consider putting it behind a UPS to carry it through short power blips. I rated it 5 stars because it did exactly what it was advertised to do and does it well. It could only be better if it was also manageable through the same Unifi software that manages the AC Lites, but since that's just a wishlist item no stars are deducted. :-)

The seller really needs to make sure they test all of the equipment before selling it
When I received a product and took it out to the customer site with the expectations that it worked, I plugged it in they turned on the POE side of the switch would not power up anything. I’m not sure if the switch actually worked as well because once I noticed that the cameras wouldn’t boot up from the switch, I hadn’t really know the way of testing it Disappoint because I have to go back and rebuy it again. Wait a few days for it to come in in order to get my customer site back up.

Pretty decent PoE switch, especially for Ubiquiti cameras
I've bought a few of these Ubiquiti TOUGHSwitch PoE Pro's over the last 3 years and they are pretty decent. I use them to power the Ubiquiti cameras. It is true that there are cheaper PoE switches out there, but I like Ubiquiti's other gear, so I stick with these. They do feature a nicely designed user interface that is very easy to use, adjustable PoE voltages and managed features like VLAN capabilities and a management port. These features are important over the cheaper switches that are unmanaged since I can keep the management network separate to the devices. I've had a couple of these devices fail which is why I've removed a star, but otherwise I think they are pretty reliable. One failed after being used for a couple years, and another failed because it might have been injured by a surge. Both were on UPS and surge protection, but I'll give Ubiquiti the benefit of the doubt.

Raises the bar on POE, especially if you deploy outside of a controlled, enterprise environment.
My second ToughSwitch Pro PoE switch - first still in service. both 100% reliable and neither of them in climate controlled environments. Avoid condensing humidity and I think you will 100% please with the switches. 24v and 48v switchability on a port-by-port basis is a big plus for anyone in the ubiquiti community

Works great for powering POE cameras
I am using this to power 6 Unifi POE cameras. It's mounted inside of a wall mounted steel network box and hasn't had any heat problems.I really like the ability to configure each port and to monitor the traffic. It even monitors if a camera loses connection.

You are better off going with the Ubiquiti Networks 8-Port UniFi Switch
This is a POE+ switch and will perform the required functions but I kept running into an issue with plugging in multiple Ubiquiti LR-AP-AC acccess points.. It would power up to two of them but not a third.. Not sure what the issue is but they kept coming up "not active". I verified that the issue was with the switch by swapping out both lan cables and access points. I also RMA'd the switch twice.. You are better off going with the Ubiquiti Networks 8-Port UniFi Switch, Managed PoE+ Gigabit Switch with SFP, 150W (US-8-150W).. This thing is solid and integrates with the Unifi system..

Ping Watchdog is a lifesaver! Great Switch!
Great like all Ubiquit products. I really wish that Ubi would bring the "ping watchdog" feature on these switches to the Unifi lineup. It is REALLY useful when you have finicky PoE products that need rebooted once a month. The Ping watchdog feature will ping the device and after a while of not replying, the switch will reboot the device and wait for it to come online. If it doesn't the switch can be configured to send you an email. Very handy!
