I had a particularly large kayak and it dented the crap out of my roof. The 165 lb is not realistic and when I ordered this over a year ago it did not include the non skid anti scratch pieces nor all of the warnings. Needless to say I hope that the changes they made in warning clients has saved people from the grief I experienced. I almost lost my kayak on the freeway because the slight bounce loosened the straps somehow and I'm glad it was only 2 freeway exits I had to drive anyways. Spend a little more for security and avoid the stress.

Rackets to tighten straps would not pull tight enough. Do not use.

I used the Onefeng Sports roof rack for the first time last month. It took longer to put it on and get the straps tight and the straps that secured my kayak needed to be tightened and adjusted after about ten minutes on the road. This was mainly due to not having ANY directions provided by the manufacturer. I cannot understand why we aren’t provided with any instructions at all. After I tightened the straps, I was able to drive the remaining hour without incident. The concept for this system is good, but would be so much better with either a video or written instructions.

The foam pads aren’t so soft on the side that sits on your car. We put a towel down underneath it. It didn’t work for our canoe because the pads don’t adjust out to allow you to strap it to your car right with the bottom up so air doesn’t catch it. We tried doing it as the picture shows, but I’d have to strap is super tight so it wouldn’t fly off and my roof kept denting in on my Ford Fusion. The strap also runs through your car right above your head. I’m 5’-5’, so it may be cumbersome for someone that’s tallerThese would be great for a paddle board or surfboard and maybe a small kayak if you put something down on your roof, but not for a canoe.Straps are quality and straps easy to tighten.

Not sure why everyone is so mad at this kayak rack. It works perfectly fine. I’m sure having bars on my car helped secure the rack and straps a bit more if i hadn’t had that..... but all in all, it works. Easy to put on the car. East to tie the kayak down. Definitely more secure if 2 people are tightening the straps rather than one, but im not mad at it. I like that the kayak lays flat on my car and when im done, I can easily take this rack off my car instead of having something obnoxious on my roof. Did not scratch my roof either as the pads were in fact a rubber ish material, unlike the hard plastic I keep seeing people complain about.

It took no time at all and only one use for the nylon to tear on the pads. It’s not a very user friendly product either as it’s difficult to get the straps in the right place and then strap down and take off my surfboard. Theres also no protection from the buckles and it could shave really damaged my surfboard had it shifted at all. However the value for the price was about on par as these were the cheapest straps I could find. They’re useable in a pinch.

I like the sturdyness although I thought that because it's on top of my car it would have better protection for the paint hopefully it won't scratch it.

Way good expensive for what is it ! Made to fit on even large roof bar, on normal size, it does not fit that well, Might be designed to be unslippery, if you slide, let’s say SUP board, over them, they will roll over the bar and likely finish upside down (with no foam on top) because they are too slack. A larger band of Velcro would have been nice to tightly fix them instead of loosely attach them. Honestly, I’ve seen some people using pool noodles with ty-raps instead of those cushion and I wish I would have seen the idea before buying these ! Check for alternative or cheaper versions of these before atopping your choice !

The strap between the foam blocks is not adjustable so you can't move them farther apart to accommodate the width of a canoe. We had to cut up a pool noodle and tie it to the ends to make it work at all and will still need to purchase ratchet straps to secure it tighter to the car. The ad needs to remove the word "canoe" from its title because it is certainly false advertising.

Le Support de toit souple ne conviens pas très bien au petite voiture comme une mazda 2 au toit rond, difficile a faite addèrer , il appuis seulement au centre du toit , la distance entre les 2 modules devrais être ajustable
