Superior product!
Outstanding product! I knew that I would have problems with assembly but there was NONE!I primed the gas as instructed, set the choke, said a prayer, and turned the key.Miracle of miracles, is started!!! Ran like a top.I have had a stroke and can not pull a starter cord well. This solves my problem.Thank you.

I have the 2200 watt model and have almost 200 hours running time on it found it to be of good value and quality no major issues. The only things I take issue with is the weight and the fact you have to be very careful pouring gasoline into it. You must pour slowly and carefully or it overflows the funnel goes all over the control panel.

worked for 6 hours
I purchased the older version in 2012. It sat unused until August 2020 when we lost power for an extended period of time. It started on the first pull and all was good. After about 6 hours of use it stopped and never started again. I contacted Hyundai in Canada for help and they never responded .After two days of trying I gave the generator to my nephew . Upon disassembly he discovered a cracked air box and inside the carburetor throat was a cotter pin of some sort jamming the butterfly . While trying to retrieve it it fell into the cylinder which will require even further disassembly . There is no reason a cotter pin would be placed inside a carburetor during assembly.So if you make the mistake of buying one of their generators check inside the carb before you start it

Great for occasional use!!
Good generator, works well but failed after 9 solid days of use. Let’s face it, running any of these types of units at 80% 24x7 for 9 days is bound to have issues. I would buy this again for occasional use. Is quiet, easy to start and easy to transport

All the bad reviews are for the 2200 generator not the 2800 that seems to have no bad reviews.
I've had this generator for over 5 years and it seems to be working fine. All the bad reviews on this are for the 2200 not the 2800 that I purchased. I'm camping right now and turn on my generator today in its doing a great job of recharging my batteries and allowing my wife to use a microwave
