I was very concerned about this product with all the more negative reviews but after watching the one customers video review of how it works I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did! The first photo is the pile of branches I had to burn or haul away that now I have made into mulch for my garden beds! If you have concerns, look for the review that has the video. He did a very good job of explaining the operation and use of this product. That is why I did not do my own. I will say that for the money it has performed WAY BETTER than expected!!!! Yes, it is true the green leaves do not mulch up, most come through whole or only slightly mulched, do I care? No. I am more concerned about the branches and it chips up branches like a champ under 1.5" across it will take it right out of your hand and chip up a 4 foot branch in seconds. I have found that it will do 2" branches if you go slow and let it take a few extra seconds but as it is not made for that size I do not recommend doing lots of those. I have done oak, pine, green branches, dead branches, tall tropical large leaf plants, and all manner of green and dead bushes, plants and shrubs and they went through with no issues. I had to use the push tool a few times and after using all day I did have to remove the hopper once for being clogged due to the high volume of greens I was putting through. I was very pleasantly surprised how easy it was to remove and to put back on. less than 5 mins and I was back to work. If you want an inexpensive yard and garden chipper to use for small branches from spring pruning and clean up. This is the machine you for you. If you understand what it does and how to use it. It is an excellent little machine!

I researched the range of items very closely on Amazon when I selected this one. It sounded like a good mid-range option that did more than the tiniest thinnest pieces of wood. It does not. First of all, it does not process anything the least bit wet or green. That jams very easily. And it's very hard to clear out when this happens. If the sticks are dry they go through pretty well. But again while you would think it would be the chipper would be even across horizontally, it's weakest on the left and it slopes down to the right which is where the bigger pieces easily get jammed. 2) second and more importantly, the diameter of the dry sticks it processes is probably half of what's promised. And as with the wet green pieces of any size, anything slightly too large even if it's dry can jam up the chipper as well. I would definitely not buy this again and definitely do not recommend it. I should have gone into Ace hardware to ask advice. And I should have bought a higher-end model even though they are significantly more expensive.

So I wanted to give a good and honest review of this wood chipper after using it for what it was purchased for.The most important thing to remember when considering purchasing this wood chipper is the cost. If you are looking to grind up/mulch a fair amount of branches or leaves you are not going to beat the cost. I knew when purchasing this for just over $100 I probably wasn't getting a top-of-the-line chipper/mulcher, but I needed it for about 3 days' worth of mulching the branches of three, 8-foot Italian Cypress tress and a lot of bougainvillea branches from a bunch of bushes in my yard. I was able to finish in 3 days, which would have cost me much more for a rental from somewhere like Home Depot.- The packaging was not the greatest. As mentioned by other reviewers both of my wheels were packed so tight the hard plastic was deformed on both as shown in the pictures, but I was not planning on using the chipper like a baby stroller so I used them with no issues.- The directions are horrible, but you're primarily attaching the wheels and the hopper, not furniture from Ikea, so it was easy to just use the website picture to assemble.- It would jam occasionally, but what was jamming in mine was a lot of greenery from the Italian Cypress branches. I didn't even need directions to figure out how to open it up and unjam it, so no issues there.- It is loud (as mentioned by other reviews). A good playlist via my Airpods and a heads-up to my neighbor who works remotely in his garage was all that was needed to mitigate the loud sound.All-in-all, for the price paid I was very pleased with taking the chance on a wood chipper that was inexpensive. With a planned sharpening of the blades, I am certain I will get more use out of it in the future, and I consider this purchase as having already paid itself off, given what I would have paid for a rental.If your job is small, this chipper will do the job and if you do your research with buying vs renting you will see that this purchase is worth trying. Don't get frustrated at the packaging, the wheels and the assembly directions as they have minimal impact on the overall use.

I have only used this on one tree at this time but it works wonderful for DIY yard work. I only cut branches about 1” and smaller but if did an excellent job! It did jamb up once for me and I had to open it up and clear but once I got a system down it worked better than expected…. I would recommend this completely!! I have only cut up freshly trimmed branches so I don’t know how it will work on old dried ones..

Tritura con facilidad todo tipo de ramas de hasta 1 cm de grosor, incluso algunas más gruesas, no se atasca y es rápido. Algo ruidoso pero tolerable. Muy útil.

Marque inconnu, suite à l'achat d'un broyeur chez Lidl qui n'a vécu que 2 jours, je cherchais un petit broyeur pas trop cher. J'ai trouvé celui ci de marque inconnu et je me décide à l'acheter pour voir. Déjà le carton d'emballage est un carton double isolation, donc un soin est apporté à la sécurité du transport du produit.Montage facile et utilisation, pour l'instant parfaite. L'appareil fonctionne très bien dans la mesure où l'on ne cherche pas à trop demander au moteur non plus : grosse branche passe mais ne pas laisser le moteur se bloquer par exemple. Autre point positif, le nettoyage, sur mon ancien broyeur quasiment impossible de nettoyer sans tout démonter. là une seule vis permet de démonter le dessus pour nettoyer le système de coupe etc. Bref j'en suis content pour l'instant en espérant qu'il fonctionne encore bien. Seul point un peu moins bien c'est le bruit 110db mais comme l'appareil a pas mal de couple, on ne peut pas tout avoir non plus surtout à ce prix. Avantage aussi pas de lames hélicoïdales hors de prix, mais 2 lames simples que l'on trouve partout et facile à affûter. N'est pas fait pour broyer des feuilles mais ça passe en nettoyant plus souvent. Dernier point le moteur étant assez lourd pour la géométrie de l'appareil, il faut faire attention lors du transport dans un terrain en pente, il a tendance à déversé en roulant.
