IF YOU LIKE SWEET PEPPERS...
I like sweet peppers. I mean, I rrrreally like sweet peppers! These KOSHER Red & Green Bell Peppers taste as if I'd grown/dried them myself. Recently tried them for the first time. I may not buy fresh peppers again. That's a lie LOL - yes, I will but having this Red/Green Sweet peppers in my cupboard is so convenient, it means I won't HAVE to go to the store.... I put the peppers in a large jar with a tight fitting lid.....and when my supply runs low...will definitely reorder another pound of these KOSHER peppers. And, did I mention that I really really like sweet peppers?

Good Deal!
Peppers were received in a timely manner, considering.Put 1 cup of peppers in a lidded container with 2 cups of water, shook it then let it sit for an hour.Dumped into a screen sieve and let sit for an hour. The peppers doubled in size. There were a few stems in the batch. Used the hydrated peppers on a large pizza and they were good.

Don't.
Honestly, these were a good idea, but in practice, they didn't reconstitute as well as I'd expected them to. There were a lot of crunchy stem bits and seeds to where I would have to pick so many of the peppers out of my mouth. I would even soak them in water for 30+ minutes to try to improve the texture, but no. I ended up throwing away most of the bag.I'd recommend Penzey's for dried bell peppers

These look old
I got these to supplement my own garden peppers and side by side these look old, they are not brightly colored, have seeds and tiny dusty bits in the bag. I have transferred them to a mason jar but I haven't used them yet. I will do a taste test with my garden bells and edit this if they end up being good.

Won’t buy again
Used this multiple times without trouble. Last time I used it the recipe was almost too hot spiced to enjoy. And our family loves very hot spiced foods. Maybe by accident some other type of peppers got mixed in from the maker of this product.

Good for the price
Sealed well, good expiration date. I ground some up for my Cajun rub in my new grinder that came in the same order and it was very aromatic. Well sifted, but has some seeds which is to be expected.

Nice big flakes and flavorful.
I have used it in my black beans and rice. Very handy to have around the kitchen to spice things up a bit.
