A Surprisingly Good Game
This game surprised me with how much fun it was. My first impression wasn't great either; when I got the game the box art looked like it was slapped together in ten minutes and the case was white instead of light blue. I popped it in and twenty hours of gameplay later, I've beaten it and would love to play through it again. The graphics are good, not great and the camera is pretty bad but the gameplay is pretty fun overall. The voice acting is okay, it seems to get better as the game goes on. I really liked the combat system and the level design. This is not a standard Zelda clone, it's a lot like The Hobbit from Sierra Games except a bit more polished overall. If you're looking for an exciting adventure to help get you through the Wii U gaming drought, look no further.

A good game wish i had played it on the Playstion 2.
Love this game. Very underrated game I give this game an 8/10. Has simple gameplay that anyone can pick up right away. Not very pricey. Was surprised at the swearing in the game though didn't expect that from this type of game. The camera in the game can be a pain at some parts but if you can get past that you are in for a good time with this game. Some of the puzzles are tough but I like that in game. Interesting story. For anybody looking to add an interesting game to their collection of games this is one people should try. Also great graphics.

An alright HD remaster with some hiccups
Legend of Kay, originally released in 2005 and at the tail end of the PS2 life cycle with some average reviews, criticized mostly for the weird camera and stilted voice acting, and combat was fairly okay. With the HD port here some of the character models have been updated and there's a new wide-screen aspect ratio but aside from that the game is mostly unchanged, and unfortunately the camera didn't even get tweaked for better control. If you're a fan of the PS2 original or you're curious and new to it, I'd say to just wait to buy the game when it's on sale or dirt cheap.

Many issues
When I first heard that Legend of Kay was remastered for the Wii U, I was extremely excited! I remember playing it 10 years ago on the Playstation 2 when I was in my teens. My husband purchased it for me for Christmas, and I excitedly rushed to play it the very next day.It was certainly a feeling of nostalgia playing it, so for that reason alone, I am happy I got it. However, playing it for the second time several years later, I realized a lot of things about the game that I must either have forgotten about, or else never realized before. The first issue is that the voice acting it terrible. Absolutely horrible. It is unemotional, bland, and sounds like an adolescent boy did the voices for each character. My next issue is that I can't stand the camera angles sometimes. There are a couple areas in the game where your character is trapped between two buildings or items and because of the camera, you can't make out where to go or what you need to do. I absolutely hated this when I was on a level where I had to swing across a long rope and because of the camera angle causing me to look backwards instead of at my character, my character eventually fell to his death and I had to restart the level. Frustration beyond belief!!The next issue is that the game is very buggy. I got 4-5 days into the game, and quit because I spent 3 hours trying to unlock a door on one of the levels in which I had already obtained the key for, only to find out on a forum for the game that this is a common bug and the only way to go forward in the game is to restart the game completely. I was so frustrated I just ended up putting the game back in the box and never playing it again.Honestly, if you're in the market for a game, I'd say skip this one. There's much better ones out there.

Best version of the game
I pre ordered this Remaster during the E3 sale for %30 off. I choose this over the PS3 version just to get the physical game. Later on I found out this features off-tv play, is compatible with the U pro controller & runs in 900p/60fps *outputs to 1080p while still manages to be cheaper than the PS4, 360 or PC versions!
