What does it mean where it says 2017 model???

Xbox One X was released in November 2017. This is to let you know that this is not the "Series X." Probably because of all the clowns who have trouble discerning the difference between the words "ONE" and "SERIES."

Is this the Xbox Series X?

No this is not the series X. The reason it is so expensive is because they are trying to trick people into thinking it is the new xbox. XBOX 1X cost $399.

Will this come in the original box with all accessories and be guaranteed to work?

Comes with a Limited warranty & agreement for refurbished products in the original box with controller, power cord, and limited time Xbox Game pass & Xbox Gold. Ours did not work and kept on turning off, emailed vendor, no response. We took it in to a Microsoft store and it was replaced with a new Xbox One X limited addition. The tech was impressed and surprised by the warranty and the unit was replaced with a new machine not a refurb.

Is there really an xbox one x "enhanced" machine or does "enhanced" refer just to the games you can play on any xbox one x machine?

It just means if you put a game with the "Xbox one x enhanced" label on it into an Xbox one x, that game will run and look better on the Xbox one x than on another model of the Xbox one. Every Xbox one model can still play every Xbox one game otherwise.
