Tomita Nisaku Sickle Hoe (Kezuri Kama)

This thing was better than expected, I did sharpen it a bit, it worked as described and then some it has worked on small areas and some larger ones when we got more ambitious, My fellow gardner said it made weeding enjoyable. It is solidly made and feels strong and comfortable in your hand "I have a large womans hand" but my co-gardner who is much smaller than I finds it a comfortable feel as well. I will be sure to order again and will be buying these as gifts for my garden club.

I ordered a sickle hoe but it doesn't look like the picture where I ordered it or this picture either. However it came on time and I think it will do a fine job.

If you are a gardener, BUY THIS. It's an excellent tool, perfectly designed and weighted, and awesome at the task of weeding. How I wish I'd found it ten years ago. I'm considering buying another so I'll never be without one. So comfortable to use.If you have a gardener friend or family member, give this to them as a gift and you will be on their good side forever.Word of caution: the edge is very sharp so be mindful when you set it down somewhere.

This thing is one of the most efficient tool I have ever used.After getting two, I am thinking of getting more of it.It feel like it turn amateur into experts in weeding. When they say one should let the tool do 80% of the work, this is definitely that tool that do 80% of the work for you.

I lost my nejiri sickle hoe that i loved and replaced it with this. Im just as happy with. Being a landscaper this tool is my best friend when weeding flower beds and being precise.*update*I’ve been using this for 4 years now and it’s still going strong!

This is a very tough sickle hoe. Well designed and made. Excellent for weeding and slicing small tree root. Blade and handle are rigid and does not bent and chip. I use it for weeding on hard desert ground. It should last a long time with heavy use.

A solid hand tool. The metal is all one piece, so there isn't a weld to break. Have found this to be extraordinarily useful for weeding especially in areas that are overgrown.
