HIKVISION DS-7604NI-E1/4P 4CH PoE NVR Network Video Recorder (Renewed)

Received it a few days early, opened it up and installed a 4TB hard drive. It immediately recognized my 4 cameras and it fired right up. Setup was easy and so far it has run a couple days without a hiccup. This was a referb unit, so I wasn't expecting too much from it. The only issue I had, was 3 screws were stripped and hard to back out so I could install the hard drive. Great little unit..

This works great for my HIKVISION camera. Was able to use the Internet to view the camera or recorded video from the camera, from my smart phone, etc.

This “certified refurbished” unit is an absolute piece of junk. I have now gone through two of these units and neither worked past the setup menus. The boot screen either fails and restarts or you might get lucky every 5th time and get to the actual setup menu. The software is corrupt and you can’t get far enough into the menus to even do a firmware update. I just wasted a ton of time installing hard drives and getting these units into my rack to only find out that they don’t work. DO NOT waste your time on these “refurbished” units. They seller is clearly repackaging faulty equipment and selling it out as functional. Shame on Amazon for supporting this seller (supposedly an Amazon refurbishing center).

Watch out for that most places are getting rid of HIK vision stuff and Google has removed the Hik vision app from there play store.

Just need to add a 4 T hard drive

No tech support and cheap staff, add little more to get original hikvision which is worse
