They are more sturdy and act more like a real baseball, while still being safe and limited flight. The other balls are more similar to a whiffle ball, and are more prone to fly in the wind (so harder to pitch accurately, throw accurately, etc.). **Q: How far do they fly compared to a regular baseball?** A: Depends on the bat but I’ve hit them 50-60 yards as an adult full swing with a skillz trainer bat **Q: What is the actual weight of the ball? Please don’t say light or heavy** A: I would say slightly heavier than a wiffle ball. **Q: How much do these weigh? I just bought some of the red ones from a competitor and they are too light for my liking.** A: Definitely thicker and more solid/sturdy than the red competitor ball. I’ve bought both and prefer these.
