I put this in my pack for a recent Eastern Sierra fishing trip., most of which was bank fishing and hiking around lakes and looking for a flat place to set on which which was cold This was a god send, I’m a big guy and had to inflate it. Once I did it was super comfortable which kept me in a good mood and made the trip more enjoyable. It’s compact and easy to stash in a pack.. The quality is great, it never deflated, Well worth the money. It will be a must have on all future trips.

This cushion unrolls and begins to inflate right away. I do have to blow it just a little bit to get it to the right thickness. The air holds well without leaks. I used this behind my damaged back on an overnight flight and it made the trip so much more comfortable! Love it! I bought this and the little pillow. Pics show them rolled and inflated.

I bought this cushion as somewhat of an experiment. The combination of being a bigger guy along with the shameful excuse for seating that airlines are happy to provide their customers had me dreading a few upcoming cross-country trips. After that 3rd or 4th hour in the airplane seat, it's not my legs or even back that bother me - it's my completely numb backside and tailbone area. I can fidget around and switch positions only so many times, before I eventually run out of positions that don't hurt. I actually asked a chiropractor about this. (I see him just for routine maintenance after fixing my computer-guy-hanging-head problem years ago) His suggestion was to bring a seat cushion.Reading up and asking around, there were lots of people in the memory foam camp, but I wanted something that would fold up very small to fit in my laptop backpack. So I bought this Teton self-inflating cushion. I've now used it for two cross-country round trips with mostly positive results. A few observations:* It's really a great size for airplane seats. I actually positioned it a bit forward of the back of the seat so my tailbone was suspended with no pressure on it.* Inflating it just short of full had the best results for me. That plane's air pressure at cruising altitude causes the balloon to puff up a bit more after takeoff.* It's very easy to inflate and deflate, and rolling it up is quick and easy even when seated on the plane.* It was a huge help and definitely worth the price, but probably not quite as comfortable as a memory foam pillow would have been. Far more portable though.A little bit more comfortable and it would've easily scored that 5th star. Still, at this price and portability, I happily recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their seat.

I looked into quite a few of these cushions (intended for long air flights). I even bought a highly touted thicker "gel" hex-cell type - which was kind of bulky (only folds without much compression) when not used....After seeing reviews for Titan, I thought it would really be packable (and it is). My concern was "would it cushion enough". Well, when I got the inflation right (a little but not a lot which stiffens it), I've been presently surprised at how comfortable it is in just a normal chair (not airline seat). I'm a fan! - It also looks pretty durable for long time use (at a fair price).

This was great to take with me on my last trip. It was great for the hard seats on the cheapo airline and lumbar support for my back on the bus. The only thing I forgot about was how the altitude change when made it stiffer, so I had to keep letting air out. It's also really hard to squish back into the bag it came in so I gave up on that.

I use this for flying (I’m a pilot) and is perfect for the job. It rolls up small and fits in my flight bag and is light weight. First time I used it, it took a while to self-inflate. However, every time afterwards, no issues.

Product was exactly as described. Very satisfied.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted self- inflating seat cushions for a convention where the most common complaint was uncomfortable chairs. (Typical, & not the events fault) I didn't want to sit in public blowing up & re-compressing something several times daily. Unfortunately, these did NOT work as affront.
