Q: I'm new to electric bikes...how to you go from assist to full power to pedal only?

There is a button to engage or disengage the pedal assist feature. Pedal assist clicks in and runs when you make a few rotations with your pedals, if pedal assist is engaged. When it isn't engaged you are on your own to do the pedaling. (This is a heavy bike to pedal without assist.) There is also a throttle on the right handle to go to full power, much like a motorcycle works.

Q: how long can you go on no assist mode on flat terrain. How many miles is a charge good for

The distance is dependent on how much you use the "throttle" (i.e.to go up hills, go faster, etc). If you do not use the throttle at all, the battery is not used at all. For a "normal" ride, using the throttle sparingly on flat terrain, I would expect the charge to last 35-40 miles.

Q: Conflicting. Says 250w & 350w. Which is it?
