This brush is a softer haired brush. It is a quality brush, holds a lot of water, lays it down easily and predictable, and behaves well. I don't find it losing hairs, or hairs sticking out and it moves with my hand when painting.

I use the three-quarter inch brush for big tree trunks and stems for flowers sideways for petals. I like it a lot. Holds a ton of paint and can paint broad and micro dots. If you buy one take care of it it’ll last a long time.

I am in love! I have been looking for a fat-bellied, extremely thirsty, quality “Cats-Tongue” brush for quite some time now. I am happy to say that my search is over! Although the brush arrived three days late, I must say it was worth waiting for! It arrived in perfect condition. I immediately did a very quick watercolor painting just to see if the brushstrokes met with my creative imagination. They did! That’s when I fell in love. I took several photographs of my crude, less than five minute painting so you could see what was possible with just one brush. The belly of the brush is fat enough to create a large petal and thirsty enough to hold quite a large amount of water and paint. The point of the brush is so fine that you can actually do detail work with it! I must say, that I love Silver brushes and this one met all of the qualifications that I was looking for. I will purchase another one in a slightly smaller size. I highly recommend this brush to the professional or the beginner who likes to work with quality tools!

I bought this brush for use with my watercolors. It hold lots of water when needed and hold paint equally well. It glides over the paper. I really like it. It is a bit pricey, but worth it.

I love this brush! It's easy to use, creates great washes, fine lines, and endless movements. It works so flawlessly. It holds a lot of water and color. It lifts so well. Its design is lovely and is easy to hold. It keeps its point always. It's not springy but rather stays mostly in each shape it's been moved into during use and easily moves how I want it to. I can even nudge it with my finger or on paper or whatever, when its wet, and get it into or back into a particular shape. I have a couple more in this line and look forward to being able to get more as I can.

I love the brush. It did arrive bent though.

These have great spring, hold water and lay down color well.
