I loved these plates when my husband got them for me for Christmas! Super light weight, take up less space in cupboard and elegant looking. However, we have had 2 that have broken in the last month. One was broken when taking it straight from fridge through heating up food in microwave. The other broke when heating up food in the microwave with the plate starting at room temperature. Now we minimize how much we use these plates in the microwave. Disappointing. Never had that problem with any other plates I've used over the last 25 years.

I've only purchased maybe 3 dozen plates in my life, but these are by far the best.They survive slight hits, but I wouldn't trust them to survive a big drop nor would I want to feel what the shards are like in my foot.The big thing for me is that they do not absorb all the heat when microwaving, which is a big improvement from poopy ceramic / clay plates I've used in the past. They're also very light weight.

Great set classy style plates, love glossy noir black color with oval shape. Not really heavy dishwasher save. Easy to storage and dry after wash. Cool looking for formal events and every day usage

I used these plates for my dining room and I absolutely love that you can add any color with these dinner plates and that Are very light weight I also got the matching bowels to complete the set great price and great Quality .

Shiny, durable, I like the shape. Had them for a while, really like them.

Is for a gift

These plates keep cracking in half when used in the microwave and dishwasher. I have one plate left.

These were perfect! Bought them to supplement a few broken ones I bought from Mikasa YEARS ago!!! Fantastic!!!!!!!!!! And affordable! Wow!
