Both the filter and spark plug were exact replacements for the 4P90HUA engine on my Troy-bilt TB42 riding mower which is a fairly common 420cc engine used by MTD on a wide range of mower brands that they manufacture. As I understand it, the engine is made by Briggs and Stratton and they only use one filter on all of their engines.

The oil filter worked really well, but the spark plug was not the correct one for the model, Craftsman T1000 Riding Lawn Mower. Luckily a local auto parts store had the correct one needed for the engine to run smoothly.

When looking for an oil filter it needs to make time that it fits the space and this one was perfect

Arrived even sooner than expected and was exactly as described. Price was much less than here locally. I will definitely buy items from this seller again.

The filter worked great on my cub cadet. Update: the spark plug is the wrong size for xt1 42 in.

It look like is the same filter I got in my lawn mover,I put it on but I have not running the tractor in yet
