essie Nail Color Polish, Blushing Bride

I used this at a salon and loved it enough to track it down and buy it. I am a man, and like a little flair but I work a professional job where nail polish might be seen as strange on a man. This is a subtle nude, with a nice light over all shimmer. So I know it's there but it doesn't scream nail polish at people unless they are paying attention.

Waltz is a beautiful sheer white nail polish. I've seen bad reviews because it's not opaque, but it's not supposed to be. If you want an opaque color, this is not for you. I really like that it's a true white, not beige or pink. I love wearing just one coat to give my nails a touch of color and shine, very delicate.It lasts about 5 days, could be better but it's not bad.

This polish is semi-sheer with a pearlescent finish. It takes about 3 coats for opacity. Anything less than that will allow your nails to peek through. You have to shake it well and be mindful since the first coat can be streaky but this disappears with a second coat. If you are not good at applying nail polish, this may not be for you. You need to have good control during application to get a good result. The polish is beautiful against my skin tone and is versatile. I would recommend it for tanned, olive and darker complexions. This would also be a terrific base for nail stamping and designs. It would also be a nice color for a bride on her wedding day. There is a little pink and green shimmer in certain light.

I love this polish -- I'll either do 2 coats on its own for a more natural look, or layer it on top of marshmallow to give it a more bright/opaque look. Would recommend :)

I was initially going to give this nail polish color a 2 or 3 star, but after trying it again, I’ve bumped it up to 5! The trick to get it less streaky for me was to apply 2 thin layers. I initially was trying too thick of a layer on my first layer & it was turning out really streaky. Nice, clean, crisp white nail polish!

I loved this color when I had a professional manicurist do it. When I did it just now at home it looks terrible! Very streaky! If I can get an appointment in this crazy time at a salon I would use this for my toes. It's a very pretty color if you like whites. Just tricky to do at home 😐

I can't believe that Essie put out such a crappy shade. I love this line but this particular shade isreally streaky and difficult to apply.I wanted a white sheer polish but this isn't about the sheerness it's about the difficulty in application.Look for another shade don't bother with this.Also be aware it's not returnable.

Needs 3 coats to not be see through, but aside from that it's exactly the pearly colour I was looking for. Some nail polishes have more of a rainbowy look to them, but this one is JUST pearl.

One of the better white nail polishes I have tried - some are like tippex and some are very thin/ streaky. Does seem to dry/ go thick quite quickly as it is being brushed on though so you have to be fast to get a smooth coat on. I normally use it underneath other colours for doing ombre nails so don't need a flawless finish but I needed to apply quite generously to cover well using only 2 coats.

Complément déçue. Je n’ai reçu que l’enveloppe sans le vernis. A ce prix là’ l’envoi pourrait être un peu plus sécurisée qu’ une enveloppe blanche toute simple. J’espère avoir un renvoi d’article ou remboursement.
