Modern culture has an obsession with dragons and felines. On the dragon side: the Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Puff the Magic Dragon. What an adorable name for an orchid whose blooms are the very quintessence of cuteness. (It must be the rounded petals.) After all, who wouldn’t want to cuddle up with a purring Dragon Kitten? And speaking of quintessence, did you know the term derives from medieval alchemy meaning purified five times (hence the “quint”) – so you’re getting a 5-fold concentration of cuteness in this charming orchid! Zygos are known for their very fragrant blooms, and many varieties have been bred to produce near-blue lips, including Dragon Kitten, one of whose parents is called Zygopabstia Blue Ribbon (another brilliantly named orchid). Zygos are tremendously easy to grow, hardy, and can handle both warm and cool conditions (but don’t allow to freeze!). They’re perfect for beginners looking to branch out into something new!

Nice little plant.
Plant arrived healthy, and will take another year probably to produce any blooms. Roots are in great shape and no stress from shipping. I love this seller's plant. This is plant number 4 or 5 from them. I will buy from them again.
