Well made and appears very durable.
Great product. Would have appreciated a second hole for locking pin which would have allowed the unit to sit farther in. As it is, the hitch sits out farther than I’d like.

Too low for my Cooper
Bought the Roadmaster 6” extension/ drop to flat tow my MiniCooper. Attached to Tiffin, secured my BlueOx, all looked level and I was ready to go. Found that the 6” drop was too low, even though all was level I was dragging when driving over any unlevel surface. Fortunately, I was testing and not on a cross country trip.I returned/exchanged for a Roadmaster extension with a 4” drop. This works perfectly, no dragging the unit on the pavement. The exchange was flawless thru Amazon and the difference in money was refunded immediately.Very pleased

Mating problems.
Excellent hitch riser, but there is a 'mating' problem when you use a Blue Ox Aventa tow bar plugged into the riser. Let me explain what I found. First of all I needed to remove metal from inside the Roadmaster receiver so the Aventa tow bar would slide in. Then when I tried to use my Blue Ox hitch stabilizer, the U bolts would not go around the bar portion of the Roadmaster riser. The corners of the Roadmaster bar are squarer (if there is such a word) than the Blue Ox U bolts for the stabilizer. Also the placement of the welds on the Roadmaster riser do not allow for the correct fit of the Blue Ox stabilizer. OK, so here is the my recommendation for this mating problem; purchase 2 Roadmaster 061 Quiet Hitch stabilizers. Done!

used to lower hitch for bike rack on a wrangler. Gets it just low enough to clear 33" spare. I weight is a sign of quality this thing is the bees knees. About 25 lbs of steel.

Good Product!
The solid bar is much better than the hollow tube stock on less expensive products.

Heavy duty, but may require longer safety cables!
Bought this to offset the hitch height difference between my Class A MH and my 'toad', a Jeep Wrangler JK with 2.5" lift kit. Something to be aware of: The added length may require you to buy longer safety cables (or add extenders, as I did). I didn't notice that they were binding while turning until I inspected the cables and saw that the cable coating was worn away where it was rubbing. I have the Roadmaster Sterling All-Terrain tow bar kit.

Mating problems confirmed
This is a very solid and high quality item which is why I purchased it. Only problem is that my Kuat 2" bike rack would not fit into the receiver end. I was able wiggle it in only half way but I gave up and returned it. I don't know if they are all like that or if I got one just a little bit too narrow. I really wanted this one to work as it is long enough to clear my bumper.
