I've done some simple and easy conversions to the siren housing complained about batteries
If you take the battery pack out of the siren it's got a two pin plug and connect two rechargeable batteries to it or another way of doing the whole thing because the system goes off occasionally and that and people complain about having to get up the ladders in the night is to same with the actual siren itself inside the housing simple plug is keep that housing inside do the whole free wall have it inside have a BT phone line piece of cable connector siren and housing outside and run some cables to the bottom half of the siren and keep the top half of the siren in inside out of the way of burglars or anyone else job done no complaints absolutely excellent I said suggest people try the same themselves simple little job to do easy to do it you can YouTube it or anything

Very reliable
Had this alarm for 2 years now and just changed the battery’s for the first time. Never had a problem with it and is set on a daily basis so really happy with it.

Easy to install
As there is no wiring involved, the installation is straightforward. Yale designed the alarm system with all the main electronics located in the external siren, rather than in an internal control box. This arrangement does have a disadvantage in that the siren needs to be accessed not only to change its batteries, but also if extra detectors are added post-installation, or if there's a malfunction of any sort. Another downside is that the siren beeps when it's armed or disarmed, telling potential intruders when the property is vulnerable.

So far so good
Brilliant battery powered wireless alarmInstallation ie mounting easy- Instructions and pairing sensors etc isn’t the best. I constantly had to double check id done something correctly as the confirmation chirp from the alarm isn’t the most convincing. Not sure why there isn’t an audible count down for arming or disarming - maybe there is a security reasoning behind this….

Very good kit
I've had mine 2 year now absolutely brilliant hasn't missed a beat no false alarms never had any problems with the kit at all. And the batteries are still going strong have not had to change them yet even in the FOB. I've left it a while before reviewing so I could give a 100% honest review I would highly recommend brilliant deterrent

Great alarm system, great value, easy to install. WRONG KEY FOB supplied by Amazon!
Great value, simple to install and works well, although previous one started false alarming after a few years (but for the price, not worth repairing). Current Amazon description on the new Yale system is misleading, as it claims 6 x AAA batteries are required (included), whereas the main unit runs off much larger 'D-type' (formerly U2) batteries (included). I nearly ordered incorrect AAA lithium cells to perform better in cold temperatures. Other accessories are run off button batteries (also included). BIG ISSUE is that Amazon offered the (compatible?) Key Fob at point of sale, which I selected as part of same order. After spending over an hour during installation and failing to configure the key fo, then on phone to Yale Tech Support, it seems AMAZON IS SHIPPING WRONG KEY FOBS. They look identical, but for this system, it requires HSA6060 (not EF or SR systems) Key Fob. The Yale Tech Support guy seamed fed up with all the calls received recently. Frustrating & waste of time for me too ! ... hence 3-star review.

It's reasonably priced and apparently well made.
Not the easiest to set up. You need to follow the instructions to the letter, without distraction. Siren is very loud and not great to hear when up a ladder.
