I loved the idea of this. I bought it when it was on sale, and I thought it was really neat when the blocks came in. I made a few designs, but I ended up just keeping one that was replica of local store logo. It looked really, really awesome at night.I think this would be great for kids and maybe even better if parents eventually turn it off at night.. it's cool "toy" but it doesn't make a very good night light for very long which is (mostly) why I bought it. I'm 27, and yes the puzzle aspect was appealing to me for a little.My problem with this product is that mine essentially stopped working. It stayed stationary so I didn't really move it around a lot. But I noticed growing problems with the cord and button.. it had a glitch, but I could give it a lite squeeze, and usually it pop on. It became harder to get the blue base block to light the other blocks.. now, it doesn't light up at all, and there is scent of burning plastic.I owned it for less than 5 months, and I'm disappointed because I really did think it was super cool. I most likely will not replace it.

First off, the idea of this lamp is awesome. And when the planets align and if sits just right, it's really neat.It gets 3 stars because of how awesome it is when it works, and would get more if it didn't take so much work to get it right.If these pieces are not in very precise position when touching, they won't light up. It is supposed to light up when the pieces touch each other , but even carefully placing, once you stop touching the piece you were placing, it always seems to shift a little when it doesnt have you helping hold it into place.If there is any magnetic properties, it's not very much. If someone sneezes near it, it shifts out of place and you have to fiddle with it again.It says you can make different designs with it, but the more unique you try to make it, the less it stays together which limits it significantly what you can do with it. I find myself getting frustrated with it alot and just reverting to keeping them as even as possible and not trying to do anything to creative, which reading the description of the product before buying, was half the fun in wanting this.In the end it is neat.But don't have High hopes of doing anything to fun with it in the way of placing the blocks and make sure where you put it is a place it won't get messed with/bumped into because it will scatter everywhere. If my office hadn't been carpet, it would have definitely broke the first few days I had it.Would not reccomend giving to someone because it's going to come across as cheap and they'll probably feel like you wasted your money.

It’s pretty cool, but it doesn’t stay together very well; it’s a balancing trick just to keep it together. BUT it’s pretty cool and we still don’t understand how they all light up. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it doesn’t come with a cord or plug. If it was just a regular micro charger like the ones for phones, it wouldn’t have been that big of a problem; but it’s for a 7vt, which luckily we had. Maybe in the description it says it doesn’t come with a cord or plug, maybe I just didn’t read it. Other then that, it’s pretty neat!!!

These are cool and my nephews love to play with them. They're actually bigger than I was hoping tho lol. I want to have them as a toy/eye candy on my work desk but they're so big that I can't have them on my desk. They also can be kind of hard to line up right to light up.

I purchased this stackable nightlight for my nephew's 7th birthday and he's played with every night since. You can adjust the amount of light by leaving off pieces or adding pieces. Each night before bed he creates a new tower... I'm so glad that he's enjoying it. 5 stars for sure

This is a cute novelty. It cannot be used to actually light up a room but it has a nice ambience and is fun to play with. It is lightweight and bright. I bought 2 for my twin grandsons (aged 13) to make their rooms more interesting. I hope they like them.A little pricey but so unique.
