Review: Good cables for the price - As a background, I am a network engineer and have spent a lot of time making cables. These are good cables, a little thin, but I've seen a lot worse. They are a lot easier to work with than CAT6 cabling and these should do anything you need in your own home. I used these to wire up a 3500sqft house by putting them in the ceiling and walls, terminating them in wall plates with keystones. They worked find and because they are easier to work with than CAT6 my weekend project didn't take more than 1 weekend start to finish.
Review: Great product - Great cable for the price. Extremely affordable and quality as advertised.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are the wires solid copper or are they copper clad aluminum wires?**
A: Not solid copper. Copper-clad aluminium wire or CCA, is an electrical conductor composed of an inner aluminium core and outer copper cladding. Aluminum and Steel have a much higher resistance than that of the copper. Thus the use of CCA wire in Cat5e cables and CAT6 cables will lead to larger amounts (than solid copper) of data loss. This will eventually lead to slower data speeds.

**Q: It clearly says CCA wire, are you saying you received solid copper or can't you tell the difference?**
A: The listing did not always show an angle of the box that states CCA. The description did not mention CCA. The box I received had no specs at all. The cable has "Cat5e UTP SOLID 24AWG/4 PRS" printed on it. Striping one of the wires and scraping at it does reveal a silver-colored aluminum core. I was hoping for pure copper, but haven't actually had any issues with running this cable around my apartment.

**Q: At this price point I am assuming this is CCA cable?**
A: As the product page states this is a Copper-clad Aluminium wire

**Q: Looks like there is a divider in the cable, is that accurate? Or is it just the twisted strands? Thanks!**
A: I used it and is just the same as the other stuff on the market. 50 bucks less

Great cable for the price. Extremely affordable and quality as advertised.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don't understand why this has gotten so many low ratings.
*by A***R on April 28, 2018*

I bought this despite all the negative reviews and I must admit this has got to be the best cable I've worked with. In the last two days I've already used up roughly 300 feet and have gotten none of the problems others have listed such as kinks. The cable comes out of the box perfectly, without getting stuck, kinked or tangled. I'll admit, the wires are much more stiff than those I've worked with before however I find this much easier to work with as wires will stay where you put them before you put them into a connector. I've found no cons with this product what so ever, and plan on buying another box once this one runs out.
