This hair treatment made my hair super soft. Almost like it used to be when I was younger. Have used this for 2-3 yrs and will continue to do so.

My hair has been going downhill. This actually made it feel healthy again. It takes a decent amount to coat all my hair well and rub it in, so the size of the container is pretty little. Might last for a month with once a week uses, for medium length hair. It works better than regular "miracle conditioners," yes.But, OMG the smell of this thing! Like what is it trying to cover up? It smells like little old ladies from the 80s and 90s got together, doused ALL of their expired and fermented perfumes into a cauldron, boiled it, condensed it, and then heavily distributed it into every bottle of this product.It smells like every old lady I have ever known and still know and I'm not crazy young anymore, so that's OLD! White Diamonds? Something about Shoulders? Red Door?I thought a wormhole of my ancestors was trying to open up and take me down to old biddy-dom. "Accept your fate" they said, "Join us." Much of it seemed to go with rinsing it, but maybe I'm just too used to it. Maybe I am old and it's okay now. Maybe I'll never know.If your nose is less sensitive than mine, or you dont care, or you're a little old lady, or you're desperate like me and will be buying this again because your hair needs to get smell-smacked back into line and behave, buy it.

If you get the correct jar, it's really good stuff. If the conditioner is thick and has a strong smell, it's the real deal. If it is light and creamy, it is not what you're intending to get.I find I get the best results when I use regular conditioner in my hair first, then shampoo. I squeeze out as much water as I can and then put in the purc conditioner, section by section, and massage it for 2 mins (very important). Then I put on a shower cap and leave it in until I finish my shower routine. I rinse out my hair with warm water until it feels like all the conditioner is out then I stand under the shower in cold water (not too cold) for a few seconds. I am not sure if the cold water is part of what keeps my hair silky and light but I have not changed this part of my routine for fear that it will change my hair. I wrap my hair in a towel for an hour or so and then let it air dry for a bit. I use heat protectant spray and blow dry it which gets it straight but I also use a flat iron (chi) to get it bone straight. I have no need to put any other products in my hair nor any chemicals.My hair is naturally curly (tight curls as I am mixed) the results from this leaves my hair looking like I had a $300-$400 keratin treatment. I can compare because I found this 2 years ago just after I spent money on a keratin treatment and I have never had to do that again. I get 3 uses out of one jar and I use it only once a week.
