I wasn't sure what to expect of this item as there were some questionable reviews related to things like only turned in one direction or the lid hinges came off or it just didn't work.But after a few days, this item ROCKS:- both holders turn in both directions- craftsmanship is very good- wood quality and hinge quality is very good.There are three speeds: auto in both directions (clockwise/counter) and either clock or counter. There's an on/off switch and a port for the AC adapter (included). An added bonus (I must have missed this in the item description) is the option to use a few C batteries. Very nice.The window is plexiglass so I have to be careful as it will probably scratch fairly easily. So far, I've been using it every night and it just works.Because the item looks good, I can showcase up to 10 watches (I only have three watches, lol).This item was originally thought to be expensive but after using it for a few days, it is worth it, IMHO. Probably one of the better values out there in a sea of cheap winders.HIGHTLY RECOMMENDED.

Very nice looking watch tender/storage box. Fit and finish are excellent, and the hardware is also very nice. Has a nice solid feel to it. I am using this for my four automatic dress watches, and six quartz dress watches. Perfect for me. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five, is that it does NOT turn in both directions on any setting. No matter where you set the selector it will only turn clockwise. I would prefer it went both directions, but fortunately it keeps my four automatics running and with good time on the clockwise setting. It looks so good with all my dress watches in it, that I am keeping it my Living room on an end table. Makes a great conversation starter.

Looks and works great! The finish is beautiful but the wood is low quality so the screws attaching the hinges are loose and can’t be repaired, but the lid works fine so I’m OK. Runs super quite, and I have it right next to my bed! Love the intermittent pauses too great value!

tNot much more to say. Good capacity for the price. Automatic winder works well. Quiet. This was written shortly after purchase. Now (6 months later) the motor on the turning mechanism has stopped working (6 months). Not good. would not buy again.

This is a piece of absolute garbage. It was purchased as a gift for my husband for Christmas, and by March, it was broken due to multiple defects in the product including motor, battery outlet and power adapter. We have contacted the seller politely explaining the issue (comes with a 12 month warranty!). The seller then offered to send us a shipping label. When we agreed upon this, they later said that we would need to pay for a shipping label. Stay away from these junk products - it will cost you later in the long run.

Some reiviews stated that the directional feature did not work. Mine works fine. Box is sturdy wood with glossy finish. It is a joy to look at! Keeps my automatics tuned and ready for action.

Quiet as a mouse. Works great. Second one I have owned, just needed a bigger one.

It could stop working tomorrow and would still be a bargain, but it is still going strong! This is my second purchase, since i bought more watches.
