This board is Huge and looks awesome under a christmas tree. Vibrant colors and very well made.Our child is quickly learning strategy with this game- fun for 2 or more players!

This is a decent size, so that it's easy to move the marbles. The design is nice and the game board doubles as a wall-hanging so you don't have to find a place to store it. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I love board games. Growing up in the DR parchesi and cards were a must. This game is beautifully elaborated, the colors are striking and the use of wood genius. My wife being a pediatrician, the wooden dice is great for enhancing fine motor skills. Love, love, love!

The actual wooden game board in this set is like a pretty folk art piece. At first glance, I knew that we had to hang it in the living room of our family's mountain cabin. It's decorated with folk art pieces and this fits right in. That also doubles as a storage place as the game closet is getting full. We opt for no TV when we head up there so we are all forced to talk.The quality of the board is nice, not last for nice generations nice if actually used but for a while. It's a little on the light side which is great for hanging, with included hardware, but can get precarious with excited kids. One bump and the wooden balls can roll easily.It comes with it's own caring bag to store the wooden 'marbles'. I honestly think I may replace these with real marbles. That would really bring back the nostalgia. My dad carved a board when I was little that had real marbles and it was beautiful. I think that would also help the weight of the game pieces so they stay in place. They also feel nice in your hand. Overall, it's a good looking gameboard and my five year old haven't quite picked up on it and the older kids and spouse has fun with it last night. I have older teenagers and I never thought to play this with them. I'm so happy we got the chance, those are rare moment these days.

This is great quality. Pay attention to the dimensions. It’s a large square. Good quality and my 8 year old and I love to play together.

I enjoy playing Chinese checkers, but how often do you really play?? This board is HUGE! It comes with a bracket to hang it on the wall, but it is actually bigger than our family portrait! It looks oversized and odd sitting on the wall. Plus, where do I keep the balls then? They store in the bag that comes with it nicely, and the bag seals so you don't lose any. Once you have all the balls in there, what are you supposed to do with it? Shove it on a shelf? I wish it would hang on the back of the board or something like that.Anyway, as a game board it works well. The balls seat nicely in the holes and don't fall all over themselves when you are playing. I tend to bump into other pieces when playing checkers so it is nice to not be chasing them all over the board. Solitaire is on the back and works as well as checkers. I do wish the board was a bit smaller. I know it is designed with kids in mind, but who has the space for this thing?!

This is a beautiful set! I know others mentioned it was larger than expected, but I measured the table we would most likely play it on.

Firts time we are disapointed at Melissa and Doug product quality... as seen on the photo, the board painting was not completed. Also, the board is dented like something big was dropped on it... on top of this, the wood quality is cheap, feels like a piece of inside door was used...

Nice and bright, my granddaughter will enjoy years of playing Chinese Checkers on this board. Marbles can't roll off, indentations are plenty deep, and there is a board frame work all around the game to keep any rolling marbles corralled.

Love this game and it was an extra bonus to get the solitaire game on the back! Bright and beautiful, with nice coloured marbles that have some weight to them. Very happy with this purchase!

It was damaged when I took it out of the box. Some of the painted triangles weren’t complete and the frame was dented. It looked like someone dropped something on it. I was disappointed and sent it back.
