This is awesome. Super easy and quick to put together. Very sturdy. Folds up nicely and has a carrying bag. Very little mess. It’d be great to throw in an RV or car and take camping or to the beach.

I did not get the protector or anything addiitional. just the pit with the bag. it's so darn easy and lights quick, doesn't throw embers out and about. when we're done, we pour water over it, and rinse it off and put it away. for the $50 some dollars I paid, it's worth every penny and it does hold at least 40-50 pounds. It says 80 but it's not super huge, I don't know why you'd need that much wood. It's perfect for a driveway fire, or we even put it on our deck and just placed some foil underneath for protection. No problem at all!

I've had a couple of fires with this, and overall, I'm very impressed. It's easy to set up, and unlike walled in fire pits, this one allows everyone around the fire to enjoy it. Definitely not suited for windy evenings. The area beneath it is warm, but no scorched ground. No sparks nor ash seeps through the tightly woven wire mesh. I highly recommend it.

I Didn't want to get a steel fire pit that would sit outside, collect water, and rust just for the few weekends a year I want to start a fire, so this has worked great!Pros - Great for the occasional bonfire. It's very sturdy and I felt very confident throwing a lot of wood on it.Cons - There's a lot of sharp bits, so I can't handle this as carefree as a folding camping chair. The top ends of the rods which hold the screen have sharp edges, and the corners of the screen are also pretty sharp. It would have been great if they sanded them down.

Super portable. Takes about 30 seconds to put together. The venting allows for a great fire with little smoke. I like this one without the sides, it allows for a more robust easy to see and feel fire. We love going to watch the sunset in the Buffalo outer harbor and with the fire pit it makes it even more enjoyable. My favorite new toy!I’m slightly concerned the “screen” material will eventually burn through but so far (5 fires in) no issues.

I love this pop-up fire pit. Easy set up, clean up and storage. Only thing not clear is if the screen mesh can get wet for cleaning. Fire pit is cool to touch less than one minute after burning logs. Definitely recommended to others.

I got this because I'll be going on a camping road trip this summer but of course I wanted to test it out first at home. My boyfriend and I had a beautiful fire for several hours! Then clean up was a breeze! we rinsed it off then it was easy to put back. It came with a little bag to carry it with. It's a MUST HAVE for any avid camper that loves fire!

It works great! I ordered 2 one for myself and one for son in law. We used them over the fourth for the first time. Unfortunately neither came with the ember guards or I would have given 5 stars for sure. They were easy to setup and just as easy to pack away. It will be going with me on each outing that a fire might be wanted.
