I like this, but it tips sometimes
It's going to work as a strider of sorts under my desk, but there are two problems with the design. It's not good for desks that have a bottom cross support because depending how far in you sit, the strider will hit the cross bar. To help that, I tried not sitting as far under my desk and placing my laptop closer to me instead of further across the desk. The other issue is that depending on the length of your legs, when you stride out far in front of you for an almost full leg extension, the unit tips forward. Ugh. I am blessed with long legs, so the only way to prevent that is to pull one leg back towards you while you extend the other leg (but still not completely) to offset the tipping of the unit. I will say that for simple swinging of your legs in short strides, it's fine, and it's nice not to be sitting so still at my desk. It's actually less leg fatigue that I have now while I am studying for law school rather endlessly. So, getting something like this was very necessary for me. I'm going to keep it even with its flaws, but I wish they could tackle the tipping problem for people with longer legs, (I am 5' 11"). And, I'd like to see a model that could clear the crossbar on the back of the desk by raising up the foot rests by a mere 1/4" because I think that would be enough to clear the crossbar.

A quality item that will be fun to use!
I ordered it in January, but just now found time to assemble. Assembly was super easy with the exception of: 1) stepping the foot pads in place (was glad I had a friend with me who could stand on it to pop it down). This is totally fine since I know it will NOT pop off easily! 2) GET YOUR OWN PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWDRIVER! It comes with an allen key with a Phillips head on one end but it's too small to get adequate pressure behind when screwing the 4 screws in. Other than that assembly was super easy.Useage: it is very quiet si ce no components hit together and it works smoothly. However, on a smooth surface it needs something to help keep it from sliding across the floor. I have not tried it on carpet, but will. It's easy enough to back up to a wall so it doesn't scoot.I'm excited to take it to work this week!!

You must press very hard to get feet pads on.
I contacted Customer Care. To attach the pedals you will need to press the pedal caps (part number 19) onto the swing arms (part number 17) until you hear a click. You may have to press hard to get them to snap into place. Also, the other reviews are very good, make sure you have the proper room under your desk.

Different but good
I use this under my desk at work. It helps in two ways for me. I can work my legs a bit and keep them from getting cramped but I've also found is the perfect height for a foot rest under my desk.

I’m a fidgeter and this is great for working off that nervous energy when I have ...
It’s a bit flimsy and the foot trays fall off constantly. Otherwise, It does work well under a desk, even one with a keyboard tray underneath. I’m a fidgeter and this is great for working off that nervous energy when I have to be at my desk for long stretches.

Works Fine-just a little squeaky
It’s not bothersome to me, but I could see it may be bothersome to others if you work in a cubicle or open office space. Luckily, I have my own office and can close the door if I think other might hear.

Extra exercise
The only issue was the foot rests slip off too easily. Otherwise, good product.
