First, the lid does fit, but it is a pressure fit, so you need to expand the sides of the top of the plastic slightly to seat the lid, and then it is held in place tightly. This also confused me, I thought the lid was the wrong one, but once you get it on, you can see that it's a good fit. This is handy because every time you reach for a cotton pad, you dont want the lid falling off. The picture actually didnt make clear to me that the cylinder is entirely open from top to bottom in one area, about an inch and a half wide. This is so you can reach a pad with your finger tips. I thought you just took the lid off, turned it upside down, and got a couple out. That isn't how it works, you take them out the side.I also bought the cotton ball and swab holder, without the lids. It's offered in two styles, lids or no lids. I thought the one without lids made more sense for me, and that version costs a few dollars less.Finally, I bought the Ikee makeup organizer for $20.12, and with these 3 things, the bathroom counter is entirely cleaned up, stuff on the loose in the drawers is now tidy and attractive, and I can find what I'm looking for. Excellent improvements in advance of the New Year coming shortly.

Good size, helps keeps things organized on my counter, and looks pretty nice. However I do have two issues. It seems to be getting a bit cloudy even with regular cleaning, and the top doesn't fit the cylinder part. The latter is particularly annoying as the top goes toppling off every time it's slightly moved. But they're minor issues and and this price point it's nice to find something to help my counter stay organized and pretty.

I have been using this for a while now. It works just fine for my needs. It is plastic, so has that " plasticky" look to it. Kind of opaque like. Not very eclectic or elegant, but good looking non the less if not used in an area you might want higher quality look. It holds almost a whole pack of round cotton pads and they are easy to pull out as needed. Makes it a little easier than having a pack of cotton pads just lying around. I mix essential oils then use pads to apply to my pets etc.This container is handy and good value for my needs.

I use cotton rounds for just about everything in my beauty routine, from taking off my makeup to applying witch hazel after I shave. But constantly having a big bag of cotton rounds lying around looked plain ugly, and once the bag gets low it got difficult to pull one out. This product solves those worries! The open center makes it simple to grab a round one-handed, no fumbling with bags, and it looks much more attractive sitting next to the rest of my acrylic organizers than an ugly old bag.

Very glad to have this dispenser to better organize my cotton rounds. To remove just one at a time it should be filled just as pictured, or even lower, because the lid is much too tight to be easily removed each time. The dispenser is otherwise well-made with no imperfections in the acrylic, and the quality is nice enough to be left out. I would recommend it if asked.

This will do the job of keeping cotton pads organized and easily accessible. The only down-side is that the lid is an extremely tight fit so it seems more for decorative purposes than anything else. However, as someone else pointed out, it has a vertical open space that spans the length so that the pads can be both added and removed through that space rather than removing and replacing the top.

Like that it had an open area to remove cotton balls/make up pads without requiring two hands, but the design has major flaws. (1) the entire column leans (2) the lid was very tight and after a couple weeks the top of the container cracked in several small places where the lid pressure pushed on it. Doesn't look great, but still serviceable. (3) knob on lid is too small and weak to work; have to pry up through open side to get it open. I just leave it and don't open it any longer. Very disappointed that it was warped or whatever the reason the lid has to be forced in!

The product is exactly as advertised. As soon as I opened it the little knob on the top broke off however with some super glue it's been reattched. Fits my cotton pads perfectly and keeps my bathroom organized.
