Insta Bulb - 2 ct

I think people complaining about how bright these bulbs are must be trying to light up a ballroom. Granted, they don't throw off as much light as a regular 100 watt bulb would. I don't think that is what these bulbs are intended to do. I put one in everyone of my closets, eight in all. They light up my closets great. I can see what I'm looking for and if someone is sleeping in the room, you don't have to worry about the light disturbing them. I must say that I tried using cheap dollar store batteries first and some worked, some didn't. Once I bought good batteries, Energizer or Duracell Allaline batteries, they worked fine. As for the lights only working on the adapter that is provided, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know there are all kind of adapters with all different wattage output volts. Would you use the adapter for your 18 watt drill on the bulb that you light up your closets with? Don't think so!!!!! As for the tiny bulb inside of the plastic light bulb, I just bought three replacement bulbs for $4.99 + $2.99 shipping. I found a promotion called Instabulb Replacement Bulbs. My Instabulbs will last a long time if I just turn them on when I need them and then turn them back off. They're not designed to light up a room for hours at a time. If you forget to turn them off when you are done using them, shame on you. You are going to need a lot of replacement bulbs!!!

Awful. I bought 4 of these, 3 won't stick to anything so I had to add my own command strip tape to them, one of them won't sit in the base correctly so when you go to turn it on, the light falls to the floor. The one that is sticking up in my closet still, is very dim and I've had to change the batteries twice (this is placed in a closet used only for storage, so the light hasn't been turned on nearly as much as a normal light would) since purchasing a very few short months ago, all of them will be coming off the walls and in the trash as I await a real product like this one that works.

Just bought these the other day and have to say that it works great for what I needed them for. I have two closets (Linen/Pantry) that don't have any lighting, therefore when it gets dark, its not easy to find what you are looking for. I put one of the insta bulbs in each closet and would have to say it gives off enough light to see what I need, almost like a small work light. At first I was hesitant due to the reviews I saw, but can only say that after experiencing them myself, those who ranked it 2 stars or less have too high of an expectation. They won't give off as much light like a real light bulb (Probably half), but just enough to where you can see and distinguish whats what. They are good for small spaces NOT a room. I've added photos to show proof. I was looking to run electrical wire to each so that I could install sockets, but these are sufficient for now.

This Bulb is not as bright as I expected it to be, but it does give you enough light to do whatever you wish to dowithout too much glare. It will light up a closet just fine. I placed it over my sink in the kitchen so I could seemuch better while washing a few dishes when necessary. It is great for a storage building, garage, or hallway.You have choices of where you use it. It sticks up on the wall easily. I would like the light switch to be onthe bottom rather than the top, other than that it is a great light that requires four AA batteries that are not included.If you like things that are battery operated as I do, then you will like this versatile Insta Bulb Utility Bulb - As seen On TV.I would recommend it to family and friends.

The bulbs came in today. Apparently I ordered a two-pack, which was convenient because, while both bulbs work, the switch on one of the bulbs would not allow the bulb to be turned off, rendering it largely useless for day-to-day use.I only needed one of the bulbs, so it's not a big deal, but it would be nice if both had worked properly. I guess I can use it in a temporary situation.Some commenters have mentioned brightness as an issue. It isn't as bright as a conventional light bulb, but it does the job.I can't speak to battery life as yet. If the bulb burns out, it doesn't look too inconvenient to replace. You can order bulbs from them, or you could just find a small bulb rated for at least 3 volts.

Who doesn't want a light bulb in their closet? I recently remodeled bedroom closets and these are beyond easy to mount. You can either screw them in or use the tape that is already attached. I used the tape on a freshly painted wall and it sticks like a pro. The light is not very bright, which is good and bad. This is not an ideal light for a very large closet. The light this provide is great for an average bedroom closet or hallway linen closet. The light bulb does not get hot, not even warm. There is a small light bulb inside of a plastic light bulb shape which is also very easy to change. Taking the light bulb off the mount is flawless. It takes no skill at putting one together or putting it on the wall.I love the design, simple and clean. It provides just enough light and not too bright like light bulbs are with no shades. I would recommend purchasing this.

Seemed great at first, but the batteries die quickly in it, no mayest what brand of batteries you use, they really should include at least 1 ac adapter to plug into the wall with this, however the only time this would work out is if u only use for 5 min a day then it might last a week! But doubtful even at that, brand new batteries gone in 3 days with probably not even 10 hrs of being on, sad really is I had so much hope for this product.
