Cool........Not COLD
I was very excited about this product for my work day. I drive a route truck and it gets very hot during the summer with no AC. I didn't want to deal with Ice everyday so I thought this Igloo Cooler was the answer to my problems. Unfortunately, the cooler only cools down to 30-35 degrees below the outside temperature so if your dealing with extremely hot summer days........anything in the Cooler is barely COOL. It gets over 100 degrees on my delivery truck (Metal toaster oven on wheels) and 75 degree drinks just don't do the trick.Overall...the Cooler does what it says it will do.............just make sure that if what you are needing is Ice Cold Drinks.....This is NOT the Cooler you want..

Worth the money, but didn't last one day.
Edited: My initial review was a little harsh. I have now had this cooler almost a year and I must say it is a trooper. I recently have been having to use it in my room for excess sodas or groceries due to our fridge being over crowded. Though I was really mad about the handle breaking so early, this cooler actually keeps everything almost fridge temp when inside. I have used it on a couple of camping trip, and heat of the day in the desert it doesn't keep as well. Obviously it's 100° outside it just can't keep up. So all in all this is worth the buy and price, just be careful about the handle.First review: Literally the first time I picked it up with items in it, the handle broke in half. You may think, "Oh, you just had too much in it." No, we had a couple of cokes and a couple bottles of water, an almost empty jar of salsa, a half full small jar of jelly, a couple string cheeses, and literally it broke in half. Though it does keep stuff almost refrigerator cool when plugged in, but it doesn't keep cold if it is not plugged in.

Best cooler ever!
Just returned from a 20 state cross country trip from Connecticut to Montana and back. This cooler worked flawlessly. We were in hotels, cabins and tented. During the day we put the cooler in the car plugged in, and changed to the wall mount plug at night. The one night we backwoods camped I put ice in the cooler and a fair bit of ice was still in it in the morning. Hotels= we brought it in with us. Tenting= we used an extension cord and put the cooler in the tent with us. I put the wall mount converter on my sons book because it would get warm (not hot) and I didn't want to harm my newish tent. We hiked a fair few times for 4+ hours and contents of the cooler stayed cool in the car even though the car was quite hot inside. We just made sure to put the cooler in the shade and cover with a towel while not in operation. I tried to park in the shade too but that wasn't always possible. Some folks commented on the water on the inside. I think this is just from the condensation of moisture as a result of opening and closing the cooler; max 2 tablespoons worth of water. Once a week I took everything out and quickly wiped it down and put them back in. (problem solved) Some of the items I kept cool were milk, sliced meats, cheese, butter, gatorades, jelly, water bottles. I must say this cooler works best with pre-cooled items rather than working to 'bring the temp down' for room temperature items. Never had a problem with things going bad. Everynight, I refilled 4 20oz waterbottles and put them in and they were cold by morning. Fan noise? = minimal. I never heard it in the car. I had to put my hand on the fan to see if it was circulating. At night the only time I heard it was the tenting nights and it was a low-grade mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I slept soundly! If given the opportunity I would buy this again.

Nice. Cold. Noisy. Returned.
Cooled down quick enough to 38 degrees within an hour. Initially drew 4.5 amps during cool down. After which it was .5 amps. On solar power, it drew my battery down to 12.3 volts in a few hours from 14.5.2 negatives: fan runs all the time and is not whisper quiet. It would be great after reaching a predetermined temperature the fan would shut down or idle. That’s where the noise factor came into play. It is noisy and I’m nearly deaf. Returned after 1 day. Not a free return, either...about $11 to ship it back.Just could not live with the fan running all the time. I am in a tiny RV.Otherwise, a great item. Works well. Nice and chill

Feels cheap, but works.
Update 10/5/19After taking it out for a few days of camping in low 90 degrees weather, it kept the food fairly cold. I kept the cooler in the shade to reduce the heat exposure and had it running on my small portable generator. On the way home I just kept it plugged in so whatever food I had left over can still be used.I'll be testing this cooler within 3 weeks when I go camping in the hot Florida weather and will be writing a update review. This review is just an initial review of what I've seen so far and one thing I noticed after taking out the cooler is that it looked used even though I ordered new. There was noticable scuff makes on the top of the lid all the way around. Besides that it feels a bit cheap to be honest. But after plugging it in for about 3 hours in room temperature of 77 degrees. In side the cooler was about 40ish degrees. So that was pretty impressive.

This plug gets exteremly hot, you can burn yourself if you touch it.
OMG people who are posting over heating or melting is right! I just received mine cooler today and sure enough less than 5 minutes of usage as I was testing for my trunk clearance to make sure the fan isn't touching the trunk and my plug was extremely hot to the point that you can't touch with bare hand.. However when I am using a 110V to 12V converter the plug works normally and it isn't hot at all.. However this defeat the purpose of having a Cooler as you can't use it in the trunk..My car says 12V 15A max and the AC/DC convert shows output of 5A max. Is this the reason why? As the cooler is pulling more Amperage from the vehicle since it's supported up to 15A?

DECEPCION
